When you step foot on this property you feel like you are in a paradise retreat! The grounds are stunning! I didn‘t expect much from Bantayan Island but it turned out to be my favorite island in Philippines!and I am happy that I chose to stay with Sorana. I don‘t really understand the bad reviews here…the rooms are amazing/one of the best we stayed in philippines and very clean and aesthetic. The whole resort is so beautiful and aesthetic!and you always see the stuff to take care about the grounds. But the Stuff is the one who makes this hotel so amazing. They are doing their best to fulfill all guest wishes with a smile on their face and always trying to find solutions to everything. We had to catch ferry at 5 AM and they offer us complimentary ride to the port at 3:45 and even prepared sandwiches for the road.

At the hostel I was able to relax, find all the extra activities and enjoy the place with other travelers. What I like the most about the place were all the small details which made this place very comfortable. ATV tours, kitesurfing lessons or praw sailing at sunset were just one of activities I could take at the hostel. Very comfortable beds! First place in two months I’ve slept the whole night! Definitely recommend it to all the solo or group travelers.

The owner is very responsive, the design of the room is very unusual. It's a very nice vibe for me. It's cute. It is near to Sta. Fe Port and to different tourist spots there. Staff very kind and helpfull. Hotell area and room is clean, all very well maintained. Nice and homy asian decor and the roof terrace is a great place to hang and cool down at the ocean breeze. We had a small room, but enough size and all worked well, water pressure at the shower great, safety box, fridge, enought storage for glothes. Great and quiate location in Santa Fe village and the beach is like 30m distance. They rent scooters at the hotell. Breakfast is good, you can choose between locals or continental, and you can get coffee in a thermos so enough to start the morning. We booked 4 nights on advance but extended our stay for 3 more, loved the hotel and the island.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Great AC and finally a hot shower with decent pressure (best shower we’ve had in Asia and we’ve been here months!!!). Free water refills & coffee, also breakfast which is lovely! The staff were so kind when our ferry was cancelled due to weather so we arrived a day later than planned and changed our reservation for us with no hassle or extra cost - we were most grateful. We rented a scooter from the hotel for a reasonable price which was great to explore Santa Fe. We absolutely loved our stay here.
