What a great place to relax! The entire setting exudes a Mediterranean atmosphere with its white walls and green doors. The room was pleasant with a ceiling fan and excellent air conditioning. You have a hot water kettle, slippers and a TV (with Youtube and Netflix). Very quiet during the night. The shower (with shampoo and soap dispensers) had excellent water pressure. The swimming pool is pleasant and large enough for swimming laps. You have a fantastic view of the ocean. Canoes are available for guests (first 30 minutes free of charge). Its just a 15 minutes walk to the town/market/busstop. On the first floor the restaurant where you also have a great view and some nice breeze .....

For us, it was an oasis. We felt like home, but most of all we loved how accommodating the owners and staff were. Everything is done with a lot of respect for the surroundings, and all materials and details have been carefully chosen. We could rent a great scooter from the property and explore the area - they advised us to go to Aguinid falls, a place not sopopular amongst tourists and incredibly beautiful. It was completely different than all accommodations we had in the Philippines. Just keep in mind that if you fly to Cebu City, the distance of less than 90 km is done in 4-5 hours, so consider choosing Damaguete Airport, is way much closer. Emoha is very close also to Oslob Whale sharks watchig, 15 minutes by scooter. Also, if you love to dive or snorkel, the beach in front of the property offers spectacular reef views. To conclude, the photos are exactly like the reality, or even less. We recommend it with all our hearts! Thank you for everything! Madalina and Cedric

We had an incredible experience at this hotel! It was exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained, with a serene atmosphere. Our room had a stunning sea view, and the location couldn’t have been better—it was so close to the whale shark watching area that we could see locals feeding them and tourists enjoying the view right from our breakfast spot. The service was impeccable. We ordered breakfast from a nearby restaurant, and the staff arranged for it to be served on the hotel’s beach, under charming shelters with tables. Having stayed in about 10 different hotels in the country, this one stands out far above the rest in every way: cleanliness, location, and service. It exceeded local standards by a wide margin. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay!

Very welcoming staff, excellent team of divers. The location is remote, but that’s diving resort. From other side it’s 10 mins from the port. The rooms are spacious and done with attention to details and with good quality materials, the whole property is new. You can take a puddle board for free as well as snorkelling items. The team can organise canyoneering and sardine run trip as well . Overall very good stay and divings, absolutely recommended.

I would not recommend this resort to anyone, there is...

I would not recommend this resort to anyone, there is absolutely nothing compare to the hotel rate. If you want to go for Oslob or Kawasan falls, better stay in OSLOB or near Kawasaki falls. There is absolutely nothing in that property either beach or pool or even food. Rooms are not very clean too. Not value for money.

The stay was amazing. If anyone visits Cebu for a vacation they must visit Sumilon island. There are so many beautiful fishes and forest of corals and water is so clear. I have never seen such a beautiful underwater environment before. Staffs are extremely kind and thoughtful. Breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. There were Philippine themed dinner buffet and Japanese themed dinner buffet. I liked both but Philippine one was better.

it’s an island resort, with its own sandbar, white sandy beaches, a lagoon for kayaking and fishing, a variety of birds all over the place… clear blue waters of the sea perfect for snorkeling, swimming.
