If you don't need the buzz then Bialka is rather perfect I'd say: the trails and roads are still really close and the town has all the services and facilities you would want. Bialka turned out to be far from Zakopane --> with transportation. And there's a sad fact that transportation from/to Zakopane is so hard and rare. If you have a car it'll be wonderful for you, Small, cozy, lovely, and people are nice. If you can depend on Hitchhiking, you'll also manage there, although people are not used to it and they thought we're waving so they waved back and smiled. It's a brilliant resort.
It's a brilliant resort. Lovely gentle pistes, affordable restaurants, ski hire and passes. Everything is relaxed but it is super organised. Highly recommend but just for a few days. Białka Tatrzańska as a ski resort is unique as it has not become yet a mass tourists spot that would damage its natural beauty. And that is what I value most about this place. The ski area is perfect to every detail. I loved STOK school and instructors, and Waluś Ski Rental. Rezydencja Diamond exceeded my expectations and for sure we will come back. There weren't long queues on ski stations, Karcma Bania was the best to relax apres-ski and the whole area was just beautiful. The family apartment had a nice size of bedrooms with a view to the Tatry mountains or the thermal baths being just few steps away. Integrated in the part of the restaurants was a huge and amazing child playing room. So for parents there was the chance to relax and to have already an excellent dinner from a typical Polish menu card and to watch the kids in parallel. The service was always very friendly. I had a spacious single room with a double bed and small bathroom. Nice powerful shower. Meal included at 3-5 pm. Soup to start, followed by a lovely hearty main course. ( meat stew, schnitzel, pirogi etc) cake to follow. Nice breakfast with lots of choice. Considering this is a small family run hotel they offer lots.
