While this is not 4 or 5 star hotel, it exceeded all expectations for us. Clean, great value for money and staff very kind. Breakfast was good and extensive. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant. Compliments to the chef! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I travelled in order to visit the German WW2 sites which...

I travelled in order to visit the German WW2 sites which abound in the area, the town itself is still full of historic sites going back centuries, but WW2 important buildings, such as barracks stll exist, some in ruined condition. The recent work to improve the visitor experience at the Wolfschanze is brilliant as it does not impact on the sites historical significance.

The city is changing for the better every year, with visible investments in roads and amenities. The lake, with one pier already there and another under construction, clearly demonstrates this. The graduation tower near the lake wasn't there last year, but this year I gladly took advantage.

A beautiful, clean town.

A beautiful, clean town. I recommend visiting the castle (museum), the Church of St. George, St. Catherine, the high school building, and the town hall. Nearby are the basilica in St. Lipka, and, of course, the Wolf's Lair. Free public transportation is available in the city.

It is worth visiting the Kętrzyn castle with its interesting exhibition - a multimedia model of the city is a very strong point of the exhibition - see the remains of the city walls, a building that formerly belonged to a Masonic lodge.

Nice place, tall ceillings, big rooms, nice view from rooms. You can park your car near appartaments. Water was hot in the shower, big bathroom, enough place to shower for two people. Kitchen nice and cozy, electric kettle, a lot space for your meals, working refrigerator. Hotel is placed near catholic church, on sundays you can go and find ur god there with ur friends :)

You are definitely out in the woods with this location. However, it is a nice setting overlooking a lake. Furthermore, this is the perfect place to stay if you are going to the Wolf's Lair. I walked there right from the hotel, and it was a nice walk through the woods.

Good size apartment for 4 people. Bath and Kitchen were nice, Breakfast was good and the portions great. Good instructions for the self check-in/Check-out. Loved the short distance to Ketrzyn and Wolfsschanze. Free parking was very appreciated.
