Lomza is a beautiful city!
Lomza is a beautiful city! A small gem that is likely underrated. I went with my family to find our roots and was so surprised by the beauty of the area! We were lucky to receive fantastic help at tourist information in town square and they had an array of books in several languages for free. St. Michael’s church and the museum across the street are a must see. The museum especially were so generous in giving us a guide because my mom has mobility issues. They have a wonderful collection of lamps and artifacts from the area. The woman at tourist information also connected us with a local historian who is going to help us find our ancestors. A good place to stay on the way 'Northeast'.
A good place to stay on the way 'Northeast'. Worth to get off the Highway (even when it will go through in the future). I didn't have the opportunity to check out culture and history of the place - but it might be worth it.Guest review byStefanSwitzerland
