Sopot is a green coastal town in northern Poland that will fascinate you with its beautiful parks, landscaped gardens, Art Nouveau houses and golden beaches. This famous holiday resort is home to the longest wooden pier in Europe and an old iconic lighthouse overlooking the city.

Sopot is a go-to location for Tourists in Poland and during the season I feel like it is a bit too crowded. That's why I really enjoy spending time in Sopot after the season in September/October. Weather is still nice for a walk by the beach and there are not too many people there. There is so much to see in tri-city, with local fast train network (SKM) you can go to visit Gdansk ticket cost 6,20 zl per adult and kids pay less. Sopot has great shops and boutiques - they not cheap as everyone would think, but there is great shopping centers around Gdynia - Sopot - Gdansk. The receptionist is very friendly and eager to help if needed. The room was quite good, clean and the bed was good enough. I was delighted when my room had a small balcony surrounded by trees.
