We have stayed here twice now and would not hesitate to book again. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the hotel is very clean and well appointed, with spacious rooms. Our restaurant meal was tasty and cooked to perfection. The location is good and there is a lovely boardwalk alongside the river. We enjoyed the Turkish bath/steam room and sauna too. All in all a fabulous hotel - well worth a visit.

It was an absolutely perfect place to stay. Everything is so clean, simple, and elegant in this hotel. The stuff is very helpful, and they really do their best to offer us great, comfortable time. Breakfast with the view and with so many delicious taste was outstanding, and the spa facilities were just as convinient and satisfying. I would like to give a great thanks for Maria, who was especially helpful and kind to us. Very quiet quaint little cottage, nicely laid out with everything required.. open plan kitchen/lounge area for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. Not far from pedrogáo grande for all your shopping needs or restaurants to eat out, N2 stop pizzaria 5 minutes away along the iconic N2, plenty of camping space with facilities included. A beautiful setting. Idyllic and a wonderful getaway in the midsts of authentic portugal. The welcome was so friendly and though the lady with the key didnt speak English (and my Portuguese is limited) she couldn't be more kind and even brought us fruit from her garden. We felt so at home. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds very comfy. The living room/ kitchen is also a good size with everything you need for a stay. The shower was a lovely power shower & I appreciated the solar powered hot water. Be careful it is very hot !!! The house wasnt though and despite no air conditioning even in temperatures of 38 degrees the house was still cool and airy. Serta is a lovely town with restaurant's and bars and a beautiful river to enjoy. You definitely need a car and if you want to branch out to visit places you need to be prepared for a drive but the roads are empty and the tolls (if you want to go the direct route) are very reasonable. An fantastic stay in a lovely house. Can't recommend it enough.
