We really liked the tiny cute place and the veiw from the house. It was very clean and comfrtable. You have all the things you need available in the house and we really enjoyed doing the BBQ with amazing mountain veiw. The owner was very nice. HIGHLY RECOMENDED...👍

Fonte d'Amandos offers rooms in the very centre of Arganil. All rooms have got private bathrooms, ours had a walk-in shower. We stayed in the family room, which has two levels, so our son had a little privacy. The place is air-conditioned and cleaned regularly. The beds are very comfortable, and there are also desks and space to hang clothes. The staff of Fonte d'Amandos is charming and always helpful. Every morning you can have breakfast at the bakery, which serves a good variety of rolls and cakes, both sweet and savoury. Many local people come for a coffee, and to buy bread there. There is parking nearby. We have stayed there before, and we will certainly come back.

What a place! We have spent a lot of nights in different places, but never ever seen anything like this. The house is amazing, the welcome was better than anyone can expect. Right at the end of a dead end street in the most remote, tiny and quiet village, there is this beautiful restored house with breath taking views over the valley. Everything, but really everything was thought of and better than ever seen before. If you plan to go to this area, and you like remote places, this house is a must stay! The land lady (sorry, we forgot her name) lives just around the corner, and welcomed us with such a friendliness and passion for her house and the surroundings. I am sure we will be back one day. Sofia and Andre are the perfect ones in receiving. They make us feel like family, A very beautiful cabin is the perfect place to stay for a couple looking for peace and quiet, with chickens, sheep and doggies. The location was just perfect for what we wanted. It was close to the attractions in the area we had planned to visit and the village was nice to walk around. The accommodation has a small shop and restaurant that is also used by the local community as well. We found this a bonus as it enabled us to feel a little like we were immersed in their village life.

Exceptionally beautiful nature around the village, with idyllic cozy restaurants serving good food and rivers nearby. The hotel is located in a beautiful location with a wonderful view. Super nice treatment by the staff who have that little extra in the hotel's personal interior design and they are also meticulous with the cleaning. They also have a good warm feeling with the presentation of the breakfast and the selection that is served to the guests. I can happily recommend this hotel!
