Absolutely amazing. What a fantastic conversion. The pool area was fantastic. The whole building was just 🤩. Then the food was delicious. What an awesome place to stay. Also we got complimentary chilled wine chocolate and water for booking with booking.com which was a lovely surprise

I stayed at Villa Extramuros for two nights, and it was hands down the best place to stay if you're looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, and explore the beautiful surroundings. The location is perfect – peaceful and immersed in nature, yet just a short drive from Évora and Estremoz, two must-visit towns full of charm and history. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. It’s the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone looking to slow down and truly enjoy the Alentejo region. I can’t wait to return!

    The museum (Centro Interpretativo do Tapete de Arraiolos) is...

    The museum (Centro Interpretativo do Tapete de Arraiolos) is reaaly worth visiting. Tapestry had never interested me before, and I learned a lot on our visit. It made like tapestry, who would have guessed! Food is great on the 4 restaurants we ate in, but expensive on 3 of them. Only República das Empadas had a good price for our pockets.

    Beautiful and hospitable village, Arraiolos is surely a choice to repeat. The house was amazing, it had all the necessary comforts. All was clean, nicely decorated. The heaters were great, the wi-fi signal strong. The jacuzzi was a fun episode, despite the cold weather. The view from the terrace was amazing. All the region was very green and incredibly beautiful. The food was great, we visited several places and had a great time!!!

    Visited the Arraiolos Tapestry interactive Center, interesting history (for me), even more interesting for someone interested in embroidery etc. Visited the Castle, empty and the beautiful Convent. Good Alentejo food at República dos Petiscos.

    The hotel was great and there was nothing that we didn’t like. The location was very quiet. The breakfast was very good and it was good that we didn’t have to pay extra for it. We liked the pool and gym although none of the machines seemed to work which might be a problem if a guest wanted to use them. We didn’t so it didn’t affect us. The parking was very good.

    Location is perfect for getting to know Arraiolos. We could easily walk around the whole village and quickly return to our room if we were tired or needed anything. The terrace, on the front, has lots of sun from 12 PM on. Very pleasant. Breakfast was also great. And the staff was very professional and nice.

    Tranquil location but walkable distance to the beautiful town of Arraiolos. Beautiful setting with an amazing private swimming pool. The host is very friendly and helpful. I loved the surrounding nature with plenty of trees and birds. The house is comfortable and very well equipped.

    The location was easy to get to. We loved the small town feel. The house was very interesting to us. We wondered how old it must be with the interior granite doorsteps. We were lucky enough to be in Arraiolos for April. 25 and see how the people there celebrate democracy.
