It was a wonderful visit to Casas de Faia. The location and setting and the quality of the accommodation is amazing. Duarte and his family were incredibly kind and wonderful hosts. There is a beautiful pool to cool off in the heat and you are surrounded by wildlife on the farm and greeted by two lovely dogs. Breakfast was lovely and a really well arranged. A superb stay. From arrival to departure, the quality of service was impeccable. We were greeted by very knowledgeable and polite staff who gave us a tour of the area, followed by welcome drinks at the top of the building's tower. Our room was spacious, comfortable and sunny. The room, and the whole establishment were very clean and there was bottled water available, mostly for free, everywhere. The food at the restaurant was great, and reasonably priced for the type of establishment. The wine and wine tasting were incredible!

Comfortable hotel in the center of Portalegre. Very warm and hospitable staff. They really make you feel at home, and go the extra mile to cater for all your needs! We got a big and cozy room, and really enjoyed the small balcony. Breakfast is good, with a nice selection of local pastries.

Beautiful, private, modern property located very well, close to restaurants, cafes and museums. Friendly and helpful property owner. Good air-conditioning/heating, nice lighting, good size space. We were quite comfortable!

When we can't find any negative side, everything just perfect! The rooms are huge and so conformable. The place is inspiring and the breakfast is made with local products of the season. I loved it so much. I also work on the same busnisees so I can be very critic, bits this place has it all.
