Very clean and tastefully equipped! My room was spacious with wonderful view on the mountains and the village square. I slept like a baby, it’s very peaceful at night. Staff is extremely friendly, Marta (the owner) was responsive and available for all my requests. There is a little surprise drink, which is a very nice touch. Breakfast with pastry, bread and coffee/tea is in the restaurant in the same building, and parking for free is on the side.

A very beautiful hotel in an absolutely stunning location. Wonderful views across a deep valley towards the Serras de Estrella. Very sensitively converted. Cosy and comfortably with roaring log fires ( this was the end of November!). Can't wait to visit in the summer when we can use the pool!

Marta and her team were such great hosts. They were patient, gracious, attentive and very generous. They helped us with our rental car issues and followed through (even after checking out) just to make sure we were alright and had reached our destination safely. We are so thankful for their generosity and kindness. The property was also gorgeous to say the least. Every detail was meticulously yet subtlely well thought out. We had the most comfortable stay and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The view from our room was to die for. Needless to say, our experience was nothing short of amazing. Once again, kudos and obrigada to Marta and team.

This place is truly a gem, and we absolutely loved our stay—definitely our best in all of Portugal. The warmth and kindness of the entire family made us feel right at home. You could really tell they cared for us, and that made the experience even more special. The dinner and breakfast at the restaurant next door were delicious, and the peaceful spa on the roof was the perfect spot to relax. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal, we still enjoyed the jacuzzi with beautiful views of the mountains. The entire place was brand new, stylishly designed, and spotless. It also had this amazing fresh scent—especially the bed and towels. We enjoyed it so much that we really didn’t want to leave and even tried to change our plans to stay longer, but unfortunately, we had to move on. This place will stay with us, and we definitely hope to come back someday. A big thank you to the family for making our stay so warm and welcoming!

Exceptionally pleasant and relaxing atmosphere created by the owners of Quinta de Ribeira. They are genuinely kind and caring people. They have made us feel like at home throughout our staying with them. The location is very nice and quiet. We were lucky living in a very cosy atmospheric cottage, where we had have everything we needed. We enjoyed having our morning coffee and evening meal in the qunta's yard with the spectacular view on mountains. It is very secure and private place. The owners are always available and trying to do their best to make your stay very comfortable. We will definitely come back there and thoroughly recommend this place to everyone.
