The historic atmosphere of the house and grounds was delightful. Breakfast was a cold continental buffet with ham, cheese, fresh croissants and other breads, cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurts, jams, cakes and very good freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee. Presented at the time we requested and perfect for our needs. The grounds were magnificent, 140 acres of gardens, woods, river valley and cultivated areas for fruit vegetables and a large area given aside to blueberries. A beautiful swimming pool with diving board and sun loungers was also provided. Eduardo, the owner and his wife were very helpful, as was Antonio the manager. All in all, outstanding, and we had it all to ourselves.

Host Norberto was utmost friendly, kind and professional. Location of the B&B is perfect. 15min drive to Porto. Calm neighboorhood and some restos and shops on 5min distance . Rooms were very clean, spatious and nicely decorated with a lot of taste. Outdoor, great garden, lovely pool, comfortable pool house. Breakfast as all the rest perfect. Local, biological products (eggs, kiwi, homemade jam, fresh fruit,....). Host really has an eye for detail. Served cold refreshments at the pool, upgraded breakfast to the taste of guests, is always available when needed. To be honest, one if the most complete B&B s we ever visited.

Paula is a really good host, very helpful. She took very good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed, including an amazing breakfast! Paula keeps the house and surroundings spotless, really nice! Porto, airport and beautiful Braga is easy to reach from Covelo, it is a perfect location for visits to cities along the coast, Duoro river and North. We hope to be back!
