When I booked the room only room with two separate bed was available.I wrote to the hotel as we are a couple would like to have a double bed room. When we arrived we received a superior bedroom with balcony.We were very pleased.This was really nice from the hotel.Very nice staff, wide choice of tasty breakfast.

The locations is perfect in beautiful Alfama district with walking distance to everything. The staff was amazing and even gave us an extra breakfast when we arrived at 10.30 and our room was already ready. Drinks in the mini fridge was free including beer and soft drinks. They also had chrome cast for the tv. We will definitely come back when in Lisbon again.

The hotel is beautifully appointed and the rooms are very comfortable, the decor is very modern. The design of the room and all the fittings are thoughtful and convenient. We found the beds comfortable, more than adequate storage space and sufficient electric outlets. The outlets by the bedside are plentiful and neatly covered by a flip top. Everything was clean and the quality of the towels, robe, slippers and the bathroom products was excellent. The staff was attentive, respectful, helpful and thoughtful. The breakfast was delicious and had several healthy options. We were not able to use the spa, pool or gym due to our plans - but they all looked like great options. The hotel was conveniently located from public transportation options and from some wonderful restaurants. The on site restaurant was also very good. They set a high bar, and the hotels we visited in other cities in Portugal have not been able to match up.

Perfect hotel for a business or tourist trip. Located in the city center, everything is just around, restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, tourist attractions. Hotel is new, fresh, well designed, room is not to big but fine, bathroom is perfect. Everything is new clean, well equipped with everything you need. We stayed at the Nicola Rossio Hotel as part of our honeymoon and we enjoyed every minute of our stay! The location is fantastic and the the staff were so kind and helpful! During the check-in we were offered Pastel de Belém along with port wine. We also got an upgrade to a bigger room and were welcomed with some sparkling wine and a card to enjoy our honeymoon. That was very lovely of the hotel, thank you again! We felt very welcomed and when we come back to Lisbon we’ll definitely choose Nicola Rossio Hotel.

    LIsbon very busy when Cruise ships in. So my advice is to avoid these days as the major attraction mobbed. The queues enormous and standing in the sun for lengthly periods out of the question. Go to Lisbon NOT in peak season.

    Beautiful city, you will need good shoes, pavements are mostly stones and lots of climbs. You can use transport but we preferred discover the beauty of the city by foot. Lots of restaurants and places were to have a coffee or a pastel de nata. We reccomand also to take a train and visit Sintra

    a beautiful city. very warm and friendly people. much less expensive than other european cities, and excellent food. the signages could be better, and in english translation, since there are a huge number of tourists, who can get by with english, but there are friendly people to guide and help you. in all Lisbon, and Portugal as a whole, are not to be missed

    A good destination for a city break.

    A good destination for a city break. Hilly though so it can take a while to get around. Very busy, too much traffic. Noticed a lot of homeless people on the street though I guess this can be said of most cities. Some areas quite attractive, but generally not as picturesque as I expected. Good transport options. Would definitely recommend taking the train to Belem (outer suburb of Lisbon) and to Cascais, an upmarket resort along the coast.

    A great city. Loved the Alfama area where our hotel was. Easy to get transport/ taxis/ buses. Art and architecture beautiful. Lots to see and do. We also went on a couple of tours to neighboring cities/ areas. Food was great and varied. Lots of traditional Portuguese dishes. Friendly people. Met some very nice people. The funicular accident happened while we were there. Very sad 😢

    Lisbon is a vibrant and bustling city, full of tourists and energy. I always felt safe walking around on my own, which made exploring even more enjoyable. There are plenty of attractions to see, so you’ll never run out of things to do. Just remember—a good pair of trainers is essential, as you’ll be doing a lot of walking up all those hills, and over the cobble stone pavements .

    Every member of staff treated us so warmly, all so professional and a credit to the hotel. Pool and bar area are as beautiful as the photos show. The cocktails, bar food, and breakfast are as good as any 5 star hotel. Good sized room, balcony, bathroom. Fantastic shower. Thomas the Concierge took extra care of us, and when my sunglasses broke, the handyman repaired them. Any issues were addressed immediately. We watched the supermoon rise over Lisbon from the cosy bar seats. A beautiful place. Love this hotel.

    Well, don’t want you, all readers, to get it wrong, but this class of hotels are not usually available in this applications. It’s the best hotel by far, that I have been in. It is what a 5 star hotel should be. Besides that It’s brand new, the staff at front desk are just pristine. I ordered what I thought just a regular breakfast with granola-maple syrup-bananas-dry fruit etc, and I just had a explosion of flavors in my mouth, the ingredients are the best quality and freshness.

    Everything! The kindness of all staff was superb, the hotel was the best so far in my life based on value-price. It's not a luxury hotel, plain and simple, but based on the equipments and the kindness and comfortability it feels like a 4-5 stars hotel. Breakfast was also in big variety, tasty, fresh pastries and fit for the need.

    We had only a short stop in Lisbon on our way back to Poland from Azores. Paradouro was a great choice - it was close to the airport and to the city centre! Our room for a family of 4 was spacious and very clean. The hotel is located on a 7th floor and we also had a very nice view on the city from the balcony.
