Nice house with lovely view, it has everything you need and even more - such as board games and smart tv. The host is nice and helpful. Everything is new and clean. Cedros itself is also nice - located in the middle between ponta delgada and santa cruz - you can walk in both directions - cant decide which hike is better. I added some pictures with walking distance. You cant expect to have shop in here, but the more magical this place is.

Lomba is a good base for exploring the island.

Lomba is a good base for exploring the island. However, a rental car is essential. There are neither supermarkets nor restaurants in Lomba itself, but with a rental car you can easily shop and eat in the neighboring villages. In return, you'll enjoy a very quiet and secluded location. We either ate during the day while exploring or in the evenings in Lajes.
