Very beautiful location, tasty breakfest, nice room. Owner gave us some very good tips, where to have dinner in the town near by.

Stunning location, very beautiful and peaceful. The hotel is vey comfortable and well laid out with lovely views of the reservoir valley. The food (and wine) was excellent and the proprietor is great craic;)

Everything was amazing! It was so nice to be located in a traditional Portuguese village but with modern amenities. Breakfast was great. Service was amazing (a special shoutout to Sonia who was terrific!). The rooms were stunning. 10/10

The place is very clean and Cosy, I slept very well, it was very silent.. The owner left water in the fridge, fresh fruit and delicious biscuits in the kitchen.. There was available coffee too.

Was very positively impressed with Solar dos Frades. The room was wonderful modern and spacious, as was the bathroom. Inês the host was extremely helpful and available at any time, other staff also very nice. The outside pool and jacuzzi space is amazing, just sorry I hadnt more time to stay.

WE CHOSE THIS PROPERTY FOR THE FAMILY HOLIDAYS. WE STAYED IN TOMATO ROOM FOR ONE WEEK (2 ADULTS + 2 CHILDREN) THAT FITS US PERFECTLY. THE POOL WAS GREAT.
