The place is incredibly nice! There are two parking spots right in front of the property, and you’ll also find plenty of additional parking options in the village itself. The room and bathroom were very clean, and there’s a nice TV by the bed. Communication was smooth, and Eva was extremely friendly – she even welcomed us with cake and two beers:) She made us feel very welcome! The swimming pool and garden make the place even more enjoyable!

Paradamonte is a nice village close to the National Park Peneda Gerês, with lots of waymarked walks. very spread out village with lots of interesting water features,( two dams nearby) lots of open woodlands to walk your dog, and close to nice towns and cities.

I don't know the area well; it wasn't my intention to...

I don't know the area well; it wasn't my intention to properly explore Paradomonte. I've known the mountains since my youth, so I went with a specific idea in mind, and for that reason, Casa dos Cabecinhos is well located for what I intend to do: sport fishing and hiking in the mountains.

The accommodation was well-located in the heart of the National Park. We didn't have great weather, so we may have driven further to explore the region. In good weather, you can take lovely walks in the surrounding area and swim in the pools along the many waterfalls. There are many marked hiking trails around Covide.
