Was able to check in early which was helpful. The hotel is in the most splendid position on the river with fantastic views. Service was excellent, friendly professional staff, very helpful. Restaurant was lovely.

First things first, I’ll be back! This was the perfect escape that is tranquil and quiet allowing me to fully switch off. The surrounding mountains, the river and birds singing was magical. The facilities are also great. I wish we didn’t have to leave.

Lovely stay, with a fantastic view over Douro. We stayed in a brand new Studio with Kitchenette and our private swimming pool in the terrace. Staff was overall friendly, with a special call out to Mr. Manuel. We were also welcomed by the owner Mrs. Alexandra that is super nice and knows well the region and how to let guests feel welcomed throughout their stay.

It was a great discovery. It exceeded our expectations. The staff were amazing, really nice, they gave us a lot of informations about other locations and places to visit and things to do, that were very helpful. and it´s a perfect place to rest. We will came back definitely.

We walked in the door and were immediately treated like family. The b&b was recently renovated and it's charming... simple and elegant. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful, the hosts could not have been nicer or more helpful. Would definitely return.
