Was able to check in early which was helpful. The hotel is in the most splendid position on the river with fantastic views. Service was excellent, friendly professional staff, very helpful. Restaurant was lovely.

Amazing location with incredible view. House was super comfortable and well equipped. Nuno was an amazing host and provided us with great recommendations for the area as well as practical advice for when we spent the day in Porto. Very modern and clean. Linda who prepared breakfast was a super star.

Everything. Charming farm style house with all modern equipment. All rooms were extremely confortable. Manuel and Luz were very nice and eager to make our stay enjoyable. Luz’s welcome cake was excellent…superb panoramic view. Nice Bbq area, refreshing pool and charming patio.

    We stayed for a short period of time, but we stayed in a great place (Cerrado dos Outeirinhos) and the host recommened a restaurant that is right next to the place and was amazing. Delicious food, huge portions and super fair price.

    We were only passing through and not staying directly in the town. There are some good walks available in the area and also seems popular with cyclist. It is hilly and you need some level of fitness. Beautiful scenery and well worth seeing. We ate at the hotel which was tasty tradition Portuguese food

    Everything felt luxurious from the moment we stepped through the front door. The view’s from the Terrace and our room were spectacular across the valley and down to the river and exceeded our expectations. Clean, extravagant well thought out room that we didn’t want to leave, wish we could’ve stayed a lot longer. We took full advantage of the on-site chef and the evening meal was fantastic as was the breakfast the following morning more than we could eat. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

    The location of this hotel is spectacular, right between the historical River Douro and River Bestança, close to the incredible N-222 road. Had an amazing view from my room during my stay. As it was off season, the hotel was pretty empty, which was not a problem as I was able to get great breakfast and dinner in the property. There's free parking right next to the hotel. There are many small towns nearby to get supplies if needed and great opportunities for hiking and exploring.

    The hotel's location was quite remote but with lovely views over the Douro River and valley. Also, a great view of the sunset from the terrace. Breakfast was simple but good. The staff were very attentive. The owner was extremely personable and made us feel special. Great attention to detail.
