I felt like royalty spending time in my own castle! The staff was wonderful, went out of their way to make you comfortable and happy. When I asked if there were books available in English, the manager went out of his way to take me to a bookcase and pointed out a few books he had particularly enjoyed. Being an avid reader, I found this charming! I enjoyed the comfortable bar and lobby area and had a very good hamburger there.

I liked everything very much! The hotel is super, the spa is super, the location is excellent, the room service is excellent. I was a little surprised by the indifferent service in the hotel bar and restaurant (if we hadn’t persistently asked, they wouldn’t have sold us anything))) it was strange. It is a fantastic place and very central. I was very surprised what a beautiful art gallery it is, as well as a hotel. An exquisite integration of art into an excellent hotel. One caveat anyone deciding to book here is that there is no elevator and you carry your luggage up the stairs, which is not a problem if it is not heavy. Elderly persons and those with mobility issues would face some difficulty. The staff is very friendly, helpful and courteous. The breakfast is wonderful and the spaces are very beautiful.

A very interesting city, very clean and with pleasant spaces...

A very interesting city, very clean and with pleasant spaces. I liked the thermal park, the viewpoint and chapel of São Bento das Peras, the square with the illuminated fountain and its cafes and restaurants at affordable prices. The Church of São Miguel is very beautiful, as for the Church of São João, unfortunately I can't say anything because during the three and a half days I was there, it was always closed.

The tranquility of the place is fantastic for spending a few...

The tranquility of the place is fantastic for spending a few relaxing days. An improvement could be made by providing access to the kitchen, which was functional but closed off, and that would be very useful. The pool is small, and having a small pool would be ideal for children who don't have one.

Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave

Very nice stay at Hotel Bienestar Termas de Vizela. Professional and friendly staff, very good wifi, spacious rooms and access to the Vizela baths for guests of the hotel. There is also an easily accessible parking. The breakfast was quite good with portuguese products such as pasteis de nata. We really enjoyed our stay and we will be back! Thank you

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Everything is renovated, the room was very comfortable, huge bed, air conditioning is perfect, never too hot nor too cold, the breakfast was excellent and the Thermas... OMG, perfection! I don't remember when I felt that relaxed.

location was good.staff were friendly. breakfast was consistent quality with other portuguese hotels (generally pretty good). didn't get to try the thermal springs, they close earlier (8pm).
