Lovely staff. From lady at the recepcion, restaurant staff and gentlemen that is watching safety and comfort of the guest during the night,till general manager all of this people were ready to do what ever it takes to make us confortable. Great restaurant. Very clean everywhere.

We stayed at Hotel L'Ecrin for one night while hiking the GR R2 trail on Réunion Island. I highly recommend it to all hikers, as it's located very close to the trail. The hotel is pleasant, clean, with comfortable beds and a beautiful garden. The receptionist was friendly and spoke English, which was a great help. There’s also a restaurant right next door where we had an excellent dinner.

Unfortunately we were not able to sleep here due to changing plans, but when passing by on our way to the airport we asked if we could have breakfast with them to experience the place. The hosts agreed to our request and we had a wonderful breakfast after which we were taken on a garden tour in which all fruit trees were shown. Even though we were there only for an hour, the warm welcome we received from Nath & Steph combined with the spectacular pool and the insane views of the mountain made us regret that we left Réunion earlier than initially intended. Don’t miss your chance to stay at this place :-)
