Kind people made the experience better. The place was clean, water was hot, just the bed was a little too soft and creaked. But nothing serious for one night. We recommend it and would definitely come back. The view from our room was spectacular.

Excellent location. Very nice build, and very clean. Large room with comfortable beds. Bathroom with modern furnishings. Heat was good, radiators were warm all day. Tv and wifi were both in working condition. The view from the swing outside was exceptional. Excellent breakfast available for a very good price. Very good location as a base for visiting the area. The road to reach this place is spectacular, if a bit scary.

It'a a very nice place, with positive energy. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with access to common kitchen very well equipped; area is quiet and close to touristic attractions, like Pestera Ghetarul Scarisoara (1.5 hour hiking) and Pestera Vartop (30 min by car, then hiking for one hour).

The property is in a really idyllic and quiet spot on the hillside — perfect for a weekend escape from the city and to just enjoy nature. It’s close to the Scărișoara Glacier Cave and on the way to the beautiful Poiana Călineasa plateau. The cabin is simple but very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen where you can easily cook your own meals. There’s also the option to do a BBQ or rent a hot tub. We really enjoyed our stay at Cabana Sânziana — thank you to our kind host!

    It is a small village, but well placed to visit the...

    It is a small village, but well placed to visit the surroundings. We hiked on Petreasa Peak, second day we went to visit some caves and waterfalls. The location is close to Arieseni (mountain area, ski area, with a lot of things to do). There are some gems to visit in the nearby (Scarisoara, Pestera Poarta lui Ionele, Izbucul Tauz)
