The staff went above and beyond in every way. They were very welcoming and cooked delicious food. It really felt like visiting a home. Natura Chalet itself is a beautiful building with stunning views in all directions. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Had such a great experience I decided to book an extra night!

Loved the setting at the end of the village, set in an orchard with covered porches for lounging and eating. We stayed in the old cottage - two rooms with comfortable beds and bathroom with washing machine. The well appointed summer kitchen was close by. Our host Liliana was generous with her fruit, vegetables and apple brandy - and fed us delicious plum dumplings. We did day trips to wooden churches, Sighetu and the Merry Cemetary and Baia Mare. But also enjoyed sitting on the porch and hearing cow bells, cockerels and other sounds of country life.
