The staff was very friendly. The manager came and picked me up from the airport personally, and didn't complain when he had to wait more than 45min because my luggage got lost. He also helped me buy toiletries and other emergency supplies. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel has nice gardens and nice spa facilities.

Everything, literally this is the best place that can be for the family relax and vacation. When going to Romania, I will definitely stay here at least for 2-3 nights! Great food, feeling of luxury in every place. Great pools. Great service.

We loved the big rooms, the comfortable beds, the large shower. The aircon was much needed as we had two 40 degree days, and it worked very well. The wifi worked well too, across areas of the house and gardens/pool. The pool was great too. Gabriela welcomed us with iced coffees, gave us a wonderful breakfast and also offered us a paid for evening meal option, which was delicious and great value for money. Gabriela is a wonderful host, going out of her way to ensure we had a fantastic stay. She also allowed me to stay on late the following day (on check out), so that I could use the pool and room until I had to leave for an evening flight. Of course I paid extra for this convenience. Gabriela also offered a local car to take me to the airport in the evening (at a cost of 100 Lei).

    Snagov is close to Bucharest so you can have a getaway...

    Snagov is close to Bucharest so you can have a getaway easily. There's a lake you can visit but come prepared to meet mosquitos in the evening and bring a repellent product to protect yourself. It's easy to visit, I ate at Country Spa and have previously dined at Casa Vlasia as well - bit pricy but food is OK. I recommend it for couples, I visited the place with my husband for our wedding anniversary 3 times.

    There are plenty to know about this lake history and...

    There are plenty to know about this lake history and geological origins. There are amenities for Kayaking and boat driving school and a lot of places to visit by the water. The restaurants secluded in the forest, the former communist palace and private pontoons and taverns known by few locals or a few newly enriched people many from former communist era ... Fishing in this lake was in the past at around a 27kg a capture as I saw in past years.

    Fantastic surprise, the hotel has everything one would expect from a 5 stars hotel. Rooms, restaurants, breakfast, facilities, and of course, the main attraction during the winter season is the spa, with a big applause for the massage center. A big applause even for the Crama Restaurant's chef and service. Definitely, the best place un the proximity of Bucharest
