Hotel may look a little old but the staff more than makes up for it with their warm hospitality and helpfulness. The room was clean and spacious, and the food was delicious and well-presented. We especially want to thank Tanja at the front desk for making sure our stay was enjoyable!

Amazing view, large appartment in the center of Golubac. Equipped kitchen, living room, two balconies, AC, nice bedroom, all a little in 70's style, but come on, it is an adventure! The price is very nice! A five floor building right on the Danube river. Poorly marked entrance so I'm posting photos for the next visitors. The apartment is on the 4th floor - there is a sign on the door. I advise you to ask in advance about the keys and the keylock code, we did not have such information and there was some confusion... There is a public parking, so you need to pay for it - kiosk just over the corner. Still think the appartment is the best choice!

The property was extremely generously set up, including...

The property was extremely generously set up, including cherry liquour that we sampled, sweets, children toys, crisps, garden tap, maps and info of the area to explore, ample space for everything, including for parking and for ball throwing for smaller and medium size dogs. Three minutes drive away to a restaurant that serves fantastic freshwater fish varieties. They were also pet friendly. This is the place that is not for people who want to party all night. The property is in the middle of the national park and it beautifully quiet at night. That is apart form the wolfs howling... joke... there are just a few loud dogs but they all fall asleep by 10pm. This place is for nature lovers who need a little break from everything. Locals are very friendly and we enjoyed some very interesting converstations. I think this place would make an ideal stay for parents with children, couples and anyone else who likes big comfortable sofa and very spacious porch. (This description is for Europeans, I don't think Americans find anything spacious so perhaps think in European terms).
