The house is clean and cosy, everything you need was there: from all cutlery and bed sheets to homemade rakija (lovely rakija, we drank it all 🙂). The hosts are extremely friendly and supportive. Located literally near the cool train station/museum Sharganska Osmica (it's the next building), really close to Drvengrad. It's a great place to stay! A lot of lovely not annoying cats around who like to play and look for your fallen roshtil 😄

This is an absolute magical magical place. If you are wanting to stay in the Tara national park area, run to this place. The host is really lovely and kind, and was very patient with my millions of questions that I had. She is very generous, and everything in the place has been considered for your comfort at the Tara cozy home. The place itself is incredibly cozy, warm, inviting, and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable, the fireplace so great, and the outside jacuzzi magical. Stunning views of the mountains and nature, secluded and private, but not out of reach of places. We did not want to leave. It is a PERFECT place!!!

We really liked the apartment Matija. The location is excellent - it is not directly on the main road, but it is easily accessible. It is very close to the most notable thing in Mokra Gora - the train station. The hosts are very kind and helpful. The apartment is brand new and very clean. It is equipped with everything you need for a peaceful holiday.

I would definitely recommend getting a car, bringing some books and some nice warm clothing. There is plenty of hiking in the area and you are only 20 minutes away from the lake. A good quiet place for relaxing and hiking. The travel on the Osmica railway was excellent. If you travel on public transport, check the schedule on the internet. There is no information near the bus stop, and the bus Vishegrad-Belgrade can have a big delay due to border crossing procedures.

Very nice place for short stay (3-4) days. Mećavnik is must go visit place, and a ride on Shargan’s 8 (trip with old train on narrow gauge railway) with breathtaking views is something you should not skip.

Sharganska osmica worth a visit, it a better to book a visit or buy a ticket beforehand, at jatarre train station there is a good place too eat pancakes and other stuff, the place works till 18.30pm I think 1-1,5 days is more then enough for visit, otherwise if you prefer to hike you could take more days

My favourite place was Mecavnik, Sgarganska Osmica, Banjska...

My favourite place was Mecavnik, Sgarganska Osmica, Banjska Stena, the smallest river, 365 meters long “River of the year”, Zaovine, Visegrad. The best restaurant is in Sarganska Osmica, which has affordable prices for the variety of food they offer. It was very easy to go around with the kind help of the locals who are very helpful.

Fantastic hotel with all features and details carefully taken care of! We were lucky to get a room upgrade and enjoyed fully in the comfort, joy and quality of our big apartment! We had a huge King+ size bed. The breakfast is truly delicious with big variety. We are planning to return and stay longer over there.

The apartment is located next to the Mokra Gora station of Shargan Eight. The hosts are very helpful, but don't speak English mostly. The apartment is great, far bigger than expected, there are even welcome drinks, and overall it was amazing!

The hosts are very hospitable and kind. All the rooms come with a view of the mountains which is even better than in the pictures, in my opinion. Very close (50m) to the main attraction Drvengrad and other viewpoints of Mokra Gora.
