Upon arrival, we were greeted by the lovely host Ellice. We booked 3 rooms and loved every single one of them. Rooms were lovely and clean. Even stocked with tuna, tea station, noodles, the fridge has chilled bottled water, and the freezer had sausages and bread. Comfy beds, air conditioning was perfect, and also a ceiling fan. The property is very secure also. Less than 5 minutes from the airport, a Catholic Church up the road as well as a shop, and mini market. Highly recommend this apartment, and we have now found our favorite place to stay in the beautiful, friendly Solomon Islands. The apartment is newly built with modern interior and everything was provided from free wifi to cooking spices, meal condiments and breakfast coffee, cereal cookies, etc. They provided lots of spare towels and also provided toileteries and washing powder. Debbie, the property owner and manager was very polite and helpful very professional.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Island Home. We had to spend one night in Honiara because of a flight rescheduling from Air Vanuatu and it’s safe to say we couldn’t have spend it any better. Junior and Janet were amazing hosts. They took us around so we could get cash out, went for drinks and even a kava bar. Our accommodation was comfortable and even had a kitchen, which is super useful! We only came to Honiara for a layover but now we want to come back and see the Solomon Islands. And when we do, we will happily stay here again!
