Western Ocean Breeze is a real gem offering amazing views on Therese and Conception islands and its amazing surroundings from its generous balcony. The apartment is brand new, sparkly clean, very spacious with a well equipped kitchen, a nice Smart TV and a fast internet connection, offering plenty of speed for all you streaming needs (Netflix, Prime, Youtube etc). And the only thing matching the lovely apartment and its amenities is the owner Ricky, always ready to help and advise. The bus station (for bus 14) is just across the street to take you to the lovely Port Launey beach (that we cannot recommend enough) or to Victoria. We will definitely return to Western Ocean Breeze, its amazing views and its owner Ricky, which we already consider as a friend.

Andy gave us a warm welcome and gave us a great overview of the islands, pointing out the best beaches and places to go. And then when he ushered us in to the room, the view just took our breath away. They'd even kept some food like bread and eggs in the refrigerator to get us started off. We had a wonderful time and hated that we had to leave. Thanks for making our holiday so very memorable.

I spent first and last night at Garden Hut. And it was an excellent choice. Quiet location, close to the bus stop, comfortable room with well equiped kitchen and very nice veranda, surrounded by plants and flowers. But for me the most important is a hospitality of Marlene and David. Thanks to this lovely people my holiday started and ended smoothly.

If you have any reason to stay in Victoria I strongly recommend choosing the Quadrant apartments. The apartment was spacious, ultra-clean and centrally located. The amenities are great, and after a week in Kenya it was nice to have access to a washer/dryer with laundry pods provided - this convenience alone saved us valuable time and money. The taxi driver they recommended for the airport transfer, Jules, was so good we hired him directly for all other drives during our stay in Mahe. The reception staff, Ella, was very friendly and helpful. Her recommendations for coffee and shopping were on point. She went over and above in helping us solve a problem we had - definitely exceeded our expectations. Extremely happy with our short stay here,

Variety of shops. Safe. Cultural. Food is expensive. Beautiful lush terrain. Humid. Bus is best way to travel. Reasonable. When you change buses you have to pay fare again (12 rupees). Cabs are expensive. Many pharmacies if required. Locals are friendly, helpful. Bus service good M- F and Sunday. Minimal Saturday. Not much open Sunday.

Victoria was easily accessed, there were many markets and most people spoke English. There are frequent rain showers that lasted a few minutes which is a relief as it is hot and humid most of the time. The restaurants were great but for South Africans it worked out expensive to eat and drink. There were far too many cars on the road and simply no parking available in Victoria. lovely sights and scenery . The roads that lead over the mountain give way to absolutely breath taking views. The local busses and their drivers were a menace on the road but they provided value for money public transport.

Not the type of capitol city many of us are used too. You'll see it all within 2 hours. The tourist offer is pretty slim at best, while any tourist related item prices are very steep. In Seychelles, it's the beaches you'll enjoy, not the city atmosphere.

Victoria is ok, but we spent most of our time renting an...

Victoria is ok, but we spent most of our time renting an apartment (Villa Bella) on the North East point, which was perfect for us. The North East point is far away from any touristy areas, so you'll need a car, which I'd recommend anyways to go to the different beaches, trails, supermarket etc. So stay elsewhere than Victoria is my advice!

Well established little hotel. Very clean, nice view and pool working 24/7. Upon our arrival from La Digue, hotel organized transfer to Victoria where we wanted to buy some souvenirs with the agreement to drive our luggage to the hotel, but the driver was very kind and even waited for us in the city which meant a lot for us since it was our last day in Seychelles. Ofc the airport transfer was also organized and i even saw a bus stop next to the hotel for a longer stay; so i can def reconmend this place :)

We loved the fantastic view and the apartment was new and beautiful and very well equipped. It was also very well and centrally located. It was easy and close to go to beautiful beaches, some supermarkets and good restaurants by car. We were also very nicely welcomed by Stella who gave us good advices about everything we asked and made us Feel very welcomed. We also had a nice chat with the owner. We had a fantastic week!

Sorento Sur Mer is a beautiful property. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub with a sea view. The view from the hotel is better than many of the landscapes at the viewpoints. The hotel has an infinity pool, from which you can admire the surrounding nature. The hotel staff is very friendly. I recommend this property for your stay on Mahe.

The apartment was big, nice, clean, comfortable, well equipped. The location is very good, close to bus stop, 20 minutes by public bus from the airport and 15 minutes to the bus station in Victoria from where you can reach numerous beaches and villages. Ann is a very nice person, she helped me very much. Thanks!
