We were there in mid-winter, just passing through.

We were there in mid-winter, just passing through. However, from walking the dog in the evening and the morning, it felt like a nice and very quiet (and affluent) area. It would be interesting to see how it is in the summer - it felt like the sort of area that would be great for walking/hiking and perhaps cycling.

Good location, large and spacious room.

Good location, large and spacious room. Clean but a little worn in places. Everything worked so it was more aesthetic. A small fridge in the room would have been nice. The staff was very service-friendly. The breakfast was good (simple basic breakfast) but not included in the price. Good parking next to your room. Some traffic on the highway occurred late in the evening but not every night. No noise from the highway.

poor breakfast and poor cleaning, it could have been good if...

poor breakfast and poor cleaning, it could have been good if more attention had been paid to cleanliness and more food had been added to the dry breakfast and coffee could have been made with a coffee machine, not automatic coffee which was not good and not hot enough, the room was cold.
