We were driving late and decided to stop spontaneously at this hotel — everything went very smoothly! We called the hotel at 11 PM to ask if it was possible to book a room and check in around midnight. We made the booking through Booking.com, and by the time we arrived, everything was ready for us. A very friendly and helpful lady welcomed us and checked us in quickly. We had our dog with us (20 euros per night), and usually, pet-friendly rooms are not as nice as regular ones — but this time we were pleasantly surprised! The room was spacious, very clean, and well-organized. And the best part — something we’ve never seen before — the hotel had prepared a dog bed, a bowl, treats, and even a poop bag! It was such a thoughtful touch — both we and our dog were really happy. The room was simple but nicely arranged, with a clean and minimalist design. We really liked it. Breakfast was also excellent — one of the best we've had in hotels! Another great bonus: there's a large parking area right across from the hotel entrance, and it's three times cheaper than the hotel’s own parking. You can also stop for 15 minutes right in front of the entrance, which is very convenient when traveling with kids and luggage.

Great accomodation, very reccomended. Arrived by car : there is a private garage in front of the Hotel with a specific tariff for hotel guests; there is also a public open-air parking in the nearby which is cheaper (I used EasyPark app to pay). Perfect room and private bathroom. Great buffet at breakfast, and also the dinner (included in the room price) was great.

We liked the helpful staff at the reception desk as well as the staff at the kitchen. We got plenty of information about bicycle tours around Karlstad and flyers and maps we could use for our tour. The breakfast was enough and staff always paid attention that we get served everything. The rooms were spacious, modern and very clean. We could park our car and bicycles for free in front of the room. The parking lot is a big plus. We hope to return there again.

The only attractions in town are the forests and the lake.

The only attractions in town are the forests and the lake. I definitely recommend camping by the lake. We didn't, though, and we kind of regretted not camping there. The lake is great. I recommend it for stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking.

Appreciate that animals are welcome. It is located in a scenic area with good opportunities for walking. Self-catering and nice clean kitchen. It is located nearly a mile from Karlstad which has everything to offer

I loved that the hotel had a few kitchens — one was shared by just about 6 rooms and had everything we needed. The room and bathroom were spacious, the beds were comfy, and the location was great, very close to the swimming spot at the lake.

This place has everything you need, and then some. It's true what they said about Swedish hospitality. I've been to many hotels, hostels etc. and this one is among the best in every aspect.
