We loved the staff welcome and the best part we stayed as a stopover for the night. We loved the cleanliness and even how they take requests for kids' meals while they are about to close.

Beautiful hotel, very well designed, you feel like you are in someone's beautiful mansion and you can really imagine how the family that owned it lived and used it. Very homey and authentic. Every detail is taken care of. Great restaurant and amazing breakfast.

Location in downtown was excellent, close to bus and train, as well as supermarket and dining facilities. Breakfast was well rounded including bread, cereal, fruits and warm meat. Personnel was kind, friendly and helpful, able to advice me on locations to visit. They also have free local maps for those that want to find their own way. Room had all basic facilities like a bed, desk, closet and bathroom, as well as some more advanced like a hairdryer and fridge.

Home Hotel Kung Oscar is a charming hotel located in a calm area of Trollhättan near the railway station, Göta Älv and waterfalls. A light evening buffet is included for guests.

From arriving to the hotel after losing my purse on the plane to leaving the staff went above and beyond to help me whilst I sorted out paying them due to not having any bank cards which were in my lost purse they let me stay until my money transfer went through. They were always helpful at reception and always had a smile whenever I entered reception. The breakfast was fine and catered for everyone and the staff at breakfast were amazing. The cleaners were amazing too. Anything I needed help with everyone went above and beyond to help me. I couldn't ask for a better stay and can't wait to come back next year.

This property is beautifully located in the centre of Trollhättan, by the canal waterfront. Scandic Swania was built in the early 1900s as a city hall.

The staff was great and accommodating, very friendly team during breakfast. Efficient help. My room was located on the south east corner of the building which made it perfect for air circulation. Very clean. Could have had a deeper cleaning when the room was serviced, but not bad.

Although not manned over the midsummer festivities, the upfront information and arrangements allowed easy access and a breakfast was prepared and left in our name. Very convenient with commmunal facilities (hostel style) to keep foods refrigerated and making a cup of coffee. All equipment provided. Seemed neewly renovated if not build...
