This is our 5th visit to Sweden. This time, I chose a hotel outside the city, a quiet but charming place, and that's exactly Var Gard. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast abundant, beautiful location and above all, the comfiest bed ever!

The location was in the centre of town. Right next to the harbour. Everything was just a short walk away. The staff were so friendly and amazing. Helping us in every way possible. The hotel is a hidden gem in Gustavsberg.

Excellent host, caring, supportive. Perfect location at the outskirt of the national reserve and with convenient quick transportation to the city center, optionally using city ferries. Very clean appartment, with everything you need and a shop available nearby. The option to use sauna and jacuzzi makes the stay an exceptional experience.

The location was great! Pretty scenery. The host was super lovely. When we had a slight issue accessing the key box on arrival, it did take a while, but we managed to get into the property. Due to the issues accessing the property, they extended the stay by 1 hour for checkout. The property had all the amenities needed, and we would return!
