We came to Salen for skiing in Klappen. The location was great for this. It is 5-10 min. away. And there were trails closeby for country skiing. There is also a place nearby for renting the skiing equipment which is way cheaper rather than renting them from the ski resort. The place is very cozy, the rooms are warm. Also Göran was a very welcoming and hospitable host. It was great talking to you and learning about the area. It was a pleasent stay. :)

Amazing staff! We were there for Vasaloppet final day. They added pasta as a special dish just for that day and on the morning of the race they had a early and wonderful breakfast fixed!

Almost felt like coming home as the staff were so nice! Very friendly and attentive to what I wanted. The common living room was really nice and I got to use the restaurant kitchen to make dinner. The area is so tranquil and quiet.

Great location to explore everything that Sälen mountains have to offer. The accommodation was really impressive; it was spacious, modern and clean throughout and had everything we needed, including being dog-friendly. The apartment is super for one person, it has everything you need and fair size if you are used to cabins. The little flood happens when using shower indeed, but it does not bother. Also host provided all the stuff like linens, towels, soap and etc - which was surprising as I brought my linens :) The area is very quiet and safe, not so much to do there in October, but as a base point it is a top place.

We arrived very early in the morning, however Bengan was cleaning just as we arrived, so the apartment was ready for us. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was clean, and it was nice to be able to make our own dinners.
