The hotel staff were very helpful when we asked if we could leave bags at lunchtime on the day of our arrival and even did a room switch to let us put things into our room. The room was comfortable and was a good size, with views over to the lake. There was a good selection of food for breakfast.

I was beyond impressed with this accommodation and still talk about it weeks later. We booked the full apartment which was quite spacious, well designed, had heated flooring, a large and fully functioning kitchen (which is essential as I must cook all my meals), and several places to sit comfortably (a couch, a desk, and a dining table). The staff were beyond lovely and helpful. And it was within close walking distance of the University and everything in town. I wish more places were like this!!! Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable.

Really beautiful, historic (but modernised) building with really friendly hosts. Washingrooms were clean, the bed comfortable. The breakfast was really good and had different things to choose. The garden -well, more a little park- was absolutely lovely. A Jacuzzi was available. Really nice stay!

Wonderful atmosphere/stunning location. So much fun to see the boats pass through the lock while having breakfast! Super-sweet staff, that arranged superb special-diet breakfast to my allergic daughter.
