Lovely period building in a delightful setting. Worth a visit just to the area, scenic, quite and peaceful. Given room as requested including a subsidized upgrade, light and airy with beautiful view. Comfortable large bed, good sized bathroom. Sitting area. Free refreshments available throughout the day. Excellent breakfast and dinner from inhouse restaurant. Would definitely stay again.

We liked the hotel itself and it's ever so friendly staff. The food was great. Dinner and breakfast. Free parking and the quiet surroundings was just what we were looking for. Great place to stay as you have access to lots of places around the lake. And it's very pretty out there.

House: The accommodation is a old Swedish House and it feels like home ! The set up is adorable Romms: I travel Solo so I stay in the one person room , it was adorable like the rest of the set up. The bed is also very comfortable and you sleep well ! Breakfast: For 110 Swedish crowns you can order breakfast, you can also choice your time. The breakfast is nice and kind of Swedish. It worth and the view from the kitchen is amazing ! Adde also buy extra out milk for me , what was really kind ! activities: For little money you can rent a bike , a Kanu or the Sauna. Around the house are bike trails , the lake have something magical and the sauna is in the Garden with a amazing view window. All in all a very nice and relaxing stay ! One day I will came back

    Beautiful location overlooking Lake Siljan.

    Beautiful location overlooking Lake Siljan. There is safe access to the water at the lakeside. Tallberg comprises mainly hotels and private residences so there is not a lot to do there, but it is extremely relaxing and probably much busier in high season. June is a great time to visit. Road links to nearby Rattvik and Leksand are good and there are many restaurants and shops in both towns. Rattvik is a lively place. Tallberg is an ideal base to explore the Dallarnas region and not far to pop into Norway should you choose

    exceptional staff who we’re really friendly and welcoming the room was modern and comfortable- it was well worth upgrading to a lake view the dining room had a beautiful view and the food was delicious, albeit quite pricey we completed a very good 8km circular walk from the hotel with varied scenery from the lakeside and up through woodland and across ancient meadows the houses in the village are delightful and plenty of traditional builds

    Location with lake view was fabulous, I used the hotel as a base for travelling around the area, returning each evening. There are few facilities in Tallberg in early season but nearby Rattvik is a vibrant centre. The room was contained, with several others, in a detached "chalet" style building and was recently refurbished to a high standard with new bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Staff were helpful and friendly.

    A beautiful spot to stay and an excellent hotel. Our room was in an annexe, and it did not rain so we could walk to the main building We had not booked a time for dinner, and did not want to eat late. So we went to Rätvik for a quick meal. Breakfast was excellent. The view from the dining room is beautiful.
