Wonderful atmosphere/stunning location. So much fun to see the boats pass through the lock while having breakfast! Super-sweet staff, that arranged superb special-diet breakfast to my allergic daughter.

Nice room and bathroom. Great garden and fantastic food in the restaurant. Big plus for having proper tea mugs (large, not just tiny coffee mugs) and good tea. Staff was great as well!

The breakfast was the best. Fresh orange juice, omeletes not just eggs, salmon was wonderful. The buffet had just a little more to try without being too many choices. The room had two single beds pushed together. My wife hates that. But, overall, nice sized room 201. We would have had dinner there but the restaurant was closed... winter season I guess. But we enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the summer. Brian and Margie Miller Smedjebacken

    We didn't actually stay at the Vandrarhem - the day before arrival, the owner told us that it had been accidentally double-booked. But Marianne went out of her way to rescue the situation - arranging alternative accommodation at a charming neighbouring guest house, and offering us free breakfast. She also helpfully transferred a cycle hire booking from her daughter's company in Töreboda, providing the bikes to us in Hajstorp instead. Ultimately, we very much enjoyed our stay.
