I Travelled to Koper for Business for a 4th time but first time at The Grand Hotel. I also had a guest staying for the latter part of my stay. The Hotel is very 'Grand' having all the esteem of a small palace. From walking in the door, to getting to your room the gravitas of your choice of stay is a nice feeling. The room I stayed in had a great flat screen to connect my phone to and the WIFI was accessible anywhere in the hotel, not once did it buffer on youtube. The breakfast buffet was delicious and abundant with freshly made eggs on request. A great start to the day. I also had the privilege of Valet parking, this definitely made coming and going a seamless event. The evening restaurant with a discount from your stay will be a pleasant surprise to have onsite fine dining akin to a luxury city centre Michelin star foodery. Excellent service, excellent presentation, and delectable taste for a reasonable price. The Hotel is situated front and centre to the whole sea front allowing you to walk to nearly any attraction of Koper. Lastly the staff. The staff were at every moment, genuine, friendly, eager to help, well presented and a fine cherry on top of the ornate pastry package that is the Grand Hotel. The front of house team and breakfast service members were especially friendly giving a relaxed feel to every morning and request. Would and will 100% stay again!

Super apartment! Good location, free parking outside, private entry and small table and possibility to eat outside. In the apartment you had all you can wish for and it was very cozy. Host was also super helpful and sent a lot of information before arrival about surrounding and Koper. Shop and bakery ca 3 minutes, supermarket 10minutes and beach ca 20 minutes walking distance. Be careful with door when eating or sitting outside- it locks when going out and do not leave keys inside like we did. Luckily host came quick with another set of keys and let us in :)

Very clean apartment, everything smells nice and fresh. Apartment is equipped with everything you need for pleasant stay. Quiet and peaceful location with shops near by.     A lovely small town at the sea where everything is reachable...

    A lovely small town at the sea where everything is reachable by foot so you can enjoy endless walks. Extremely beautiful sunsets at the marina area, lovely Venetian architecture, tasty cuisine. Very underestimated because of Piran's popularity but very cozy and comfortable for a leisure vacation. Lovely green beach Slovene Riviera and nearby Zusterna. I would recommend Koper to everyone as a base for their Slovenian seaside sightseeing as Izola and Piran are just 20-40 minutes drive away.

    As a small historic town on what was an island once despite having a massive deep water port it is a very pleasant place but you can see it in a day unless you are staying for something more specific as a base (for the excellent wineries and countryside in my case).

    Koper is a lovely town by the sea.

    Koper is a lovely town by the sea. Although Koper has a huge port, tourists offer is also rich. Beautiful old town with famous buildings, University center, everything that you could possible need in many shops, restaurants, shopping malls. Kind people and beautiful, very well taken care of, nature, and close to other Slovenian nature parks. Road network is excellent and you can easily get anywhere you want.

    As for the town of Koper, the old town is charming, you can see lots of investments in the town - there is a range of new sports facilities, modern but nicely matched with the old architecture. A nice place for a city break.

    I liked the old town of Koper- interesting and some nice...

    I liked the old town of Koper- interesting and some nice little places to eat. I wouldn't swim there though- very industrial and the sea appears quite polluted. If you are interested in snorkelling or swimming I would head down the coast further to the islands off Croatia. For more history, the bays in Italy like San Rocco outside of Trieste. I didn't like Piran at all- a pretty town but just a tourist disneyland

    Koper is nice historical seaside city.

    Koper is nice historical seaside city. There si also possibility to travel within 20km to other also nice historical cities Isola, Piran and Portoroz. There are nice beaches especially in Portoroz and Piran which I could recommend. Also there are Realy nice caves close to the Koper which you can visit Skocjan or Postojna jama.

    1.Postion of hotel,not so far from centrum,in opposite you have a big shopping centrum and Lidl if you need something extra.Also hotel is on main road to Croatian Istria. 2 Breakfast is very nice & Eggs is prepared on place during all time. 3 Is nice and confy.Quit during the night...     Good variety of breakfast food options, though some were a little tired by 9.15am. Room was a decent size and AC was new and worked very well. Balcony view of the sea and Koper, only a few rooms with this, was a nice. Parking indoors under the hotel was safe and free. Staff we very helpful and friendly.

    We were accommodatedd in a new building called Capris/Capodistra of higher standard 4* . Totally new, comfy, clean and calm hotel with very nice people working there. Breakfast tasty. Located next to the shopping centers and almost next to the main builiding of Vodisek. Free spacious parking.
