Only Good things! Staff was really helpful when my car was scrathced during stay. Food is amazing! If there would be more fish on the menu - would be perfect! Room is comfortable and spacious! Cleaning team easily spoke English and was helpful!

Location - Really good, Big mall with various shops for every need. Supermarket and places to eat, just 5 mins away by foot. Frequent public transport in 15mins takes you to the center. Hotel/rooms - Unique and funky. I had basement room,it was lovely!Small, but smart designed, no space wasted.Clean and cozy. Breakfast - Really good and delicious, Machine making small pancakes on a spot- just put your plate in, omelette, cheese, little cakes and of course coffee! Staff - Exceptional! Very friendly and helpful.Always meeting you with a smile,would it be housekeeping, reception or bar.Treats you not only as hotel guest, but as a friend. Utilities - Good AC in rooms keeps you cool form outside heat, good gym to keep you in shape.

Nice cozy hotel. Very clean, there is everything you need for rest and work. Excellent and varied breakfast. Coffee and tea are always available. You can get to the hotel from the center by any taxi at an affordable price, or if you wish, you can walk - about 4 km is not a problem if you have time and desire to walk. There is a shopping center next to the hotel, so everything you need and gifts can be bought nearby. I especially want to mention the friendly and attentive staff. The girl from the reception helped in all necessary situations, helped to order a taxi to aerodrom and prepared breakfast to go in advance when I had a very early check-out. Wonderful hotel, bookmarked to recommend to friends.

A Capital City with a Small Town Charm

The charming Slovenian capital, Ljubljana is the only large city in the country. Dominated by the Castle Hill with Medieval Ljubljana Castle on top, the city is a picturesque Balkan mix of architectural styles, romantic bridges and scenic views.

Due to two major earthquakes in 1511 and 1895, which destroyed many buildings, the Old Town features a range of styles: from Roman period, through Medieval Baroque to Vienna Secession. This trend exists throughout the city with many Gothic-style buildings featuring elements from different periods added later on.

Strolling along the Ljubljanica River you will see the Triple Bridge, connecting two parts of the centre and beautifully lit in the evenings. Make a stop at the Prešelen Square, Ljubljana’s most popular meeting point with Franciscan Church of Annunciation and one of the main shopping streets, Čop Street.

With over 10,000 cultural events a year and still preserving the charm of a smaller town, Ljubljana is a city where one can truly relax: on a bench in the Tivoli Park, in one of the bars of the Town Square or on a funicular going to the top of the Castle Hill.

    Very nice town.

    Very nice town. The downtown is interesting with all those bridges, including the Dragons' bridge. From the castle on top of the hill there is a unique view to the whole town (especially if you go on top of the tower). We had a lunch in "Slovenska hiša Ljubljančanka" which is not far from the bridges and provides very delicious kitchen and interesting interior. The Tivoli park is big with nice alleys for walking a dog or just enjoying the nature.

    A beautiful, hidden secret.

    A beautiful, hidden secret. Everything from the pure cleanliness, to the feel of safety and social cohesion on the streets. I can't wait to go back. The best part is, everything worth seeing is so close - practically a short walk away - and it's SOOOO worth seeing. Probably the most beautiful city on earth (that I've been to, anyway). Make sure, if you love restaurants and great food, that you check out the Friday night food markets, and have dinner at Restaurant Strelic in the castle - sublime and perfect.

    This excellent hotel was in walking distance of the small town center where the nightlife begins at 4 o’clock in the afternoon. It was wonderful, seeing all the sites near the river and experiencing the local talent and the culture vibe.. We needed at least one more day. City Hotel is highly recommended by us.

    Hidden gem of Europe.

    Hidden gem of Europe. Small and compact and very easy going. Slovenians are some of the nicest people you will meet. A very easy destination to visit and a perfect place to explore Slovenia from - Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj, the Julian Alps etc.

    Ljubljana is a beautiful city full of life.

    Ljubljana is a beautiful city full of life. When visiting a few days are enough to walk around town, but Ljubljana feels particularly special because it gives of that energy that even though it's quite small, if you live there, there are always things to do and discover. Ljubljana also has beautiful antique shops, used and old book or music shops, which is a lot of fun to explore. From Ljubljana there are a ton of breathtaking places you can visit in slovenia just a bus away, not very far from there.

    The breakfast was absolutely amazing. They offered local cold cuts for the first part of breakfast such as Slovenian cheese and salami which were delicious. I really appreciate the effort in displaying Slovenian ingredients and delicacies. The staff was extremely professional and friendly. The room was slightly small but decent size for its location (right in the middle of old town) Thank you for the best experience. I’m genuinely pleasantly surprised to have found such a high quality boutique hotel in Slovenia.
