The rooms were great and the view out to the mountains was amazing. It's such a cosy and welcoming place with incredible home cooked meals if you don't want to venture any further for dinner. The breakfast was full of home made delights, such as homemade jams, yoghurt, cheese, and pate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come again.

Amazingly located farmstay. Waking up surrounded by mountains, breakfast and dinner with the most amazing view. The room was comfortable for four people and we enjoyed the little terrace. Staff was very helpful. Only a few minutes driving to a little village with shops and restaurants. Good located for hikes and canyoning.

I can warmly recommend this facility! Katja and her brother are amazing, really kind, friendly and make you feel at home ☺️ the entire property is really charming, the rooms beautiful and clean, the view is super nice..everything was just perfect! Also recommend with bikes, they were stored safe in the garage ☺️ thank you very much, we loved it ☺️

We travel a lot so we've stayed in a bunch of different accommodations throughout the years. Valentina, the owner, was by far the most accommodating, flexible, friendly and kind host we've every had the pleasure of staying at. We highly recommend staying here. It's very peaceful at night and close to lots of hiking trails. We unfortunately only opted for the breakfast on our last day and regretted it immediately - it was so delicious with lots of really tasty home made food that we wished we would have gone for breakfast on our first day as well :) The parking has ample space and the whole place is very clean. We will definitely come here again the next time we visit the area. Valentina - hvala še enkrat za vse :)

Great walks up the three valleys that are close bye. We had coffee in the information centre in Solcava - staff were excellent. Did the scenic road looking down over the valleys - well worth the drive up and down.

An excellent location for outdoor activities, especially...

An excellent location for outdoor activities, especially hiking and cycling. The nature here is really beautiful and we visited this region several times. It also has several really nice restaurants with local specialties and organic food. This time we cycled to Pavličevo sedlo and along the panoramic road and went on a hike towards Matkov škaf. Last time we hiked to ancient cave Potočka zijalka and Ostrica mountain. We ate at the Majerhold mountain lodge below Pavličev sedlo, at the Žibovt farm by the panoramic road, and at the Ojstrica restaurant in the Logarska dolina. Everyone is very friendly. A bike or electric bike that can be rented is the most convenient means of transportation here.

Solcava was a beautiful village, very close to Logar Valley. The views are spectacular! The air is so fresh and crisp. It is very soothing for the soul. We hiked to Slap Rinka and drove the Panoramic Road. We would have liked to have more time for hiking and exploring. The only downside would be lack of restaurants. We were there in May, so I'm not sure if there may be more options in high season but we had a difficult time finding a place for dinner. The place we ended up was in Luce, Gostlina PR Lampi. The food was very good traditional Slovenian food and excellent wine. Our waiter had a wonderful personality and was a joy to visit with.

We did nature hikes to Logarska Dolina and a medium mountain trip, also visited the UNESCO heritage Kamiska Bistrica and the Aboretum close to Kamink. Due to weather, we had to skip some other plans, but will love to come back another time.

The property was beautiful with flower gardens, herbal garden and vegetable gardens, plus musical instruments for additional interest/decorating. The hospitality was more than expected as Veronica and Maya were so eager to please, their interest in our comfort and happiness was sincere. Breakfast were incredible as Veronica made the juices, cheese, many meats and always offered something hot and home made. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed 5 days and were sorry to leave. Our hosts even set up our COVID test before returning to the US. If you like quiet, easy access to surrounding sites, this place is where you want to be.
