Everything was perfect. We had a wonderful stay after a long day of driving. Sad that we couldn't stay more and experience the spa as well. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast delicious, the room extremely clean and confortable and we had everything we need in the room.

If you are big on Andy Warhol, it's the place to go.

If you are big on Andy Warhol, it's the place to go. If you're looking for a base for a mountain trip, it's fine, too. If you harbour expectations of a bustling nightlife, you may feel a trifle disappointed.

Small town with a slow rhythm of life. 1-2 days will be enough for you. Andy Warhol's museum is a must and it deserves your time!!! Interesting exhibition, you will spent a few hours inside. The town is quite small but in the local TESCO you can buy everything you need. If you have a few hours you can visit Poland and especially the Solina lake which is about 70 km far from Medzilaborce. You cal also visit local wooden churches, there are a lot of them near Snina and Stakcin.

The goal of our stay was the very east of Slovakia and that is exactly Medzilaborce. Dukla, Ulič, Ubla, these are our other goals of the stay. Only next time we will not choose days with temperatures over 30 degrees. But the Poloniny National Park is really beautiful.

A pleasant, multi-denominational town with many war memorabilia. Well connected to the cities of the Subcarpathian region and the Prešov region. The center is a bit 1980s. On Sundays, all shops and restaurants are closed (Slovakia...); hotels remain. Oh! And the Andy Warhol Museum.

Here is the world's first Andy Warhol museum.

Here is the world's first Andy Warhol museum. (His parents were from here.) It's so good that it's worth going to Mezőlaborca just for that reason alone. You can even spend half a day wandering around it. The city is a dustbin anyway, but in an hour and a half you can be in Solina, which is an expensive place compared to it. It's great for a few days of stargazing, we might go back. I'd also like to see the museum again.
