It was the second time we stayed here. Everything was as perfect as at the first time. We really loved the kitchen corner, it is very comfortable and equipped very well. Apartment is quite big, comfortable, clean, and really homelike. Parking place is next to the building, wifi is stable, village is about 15 min from High Tatras and 10 min from Poprad by car. Host was kind to give us all necessary information before our arrival and she was available by mail or phone anytime.

Very good location to the train station and Poprad. The house was very clean, well equipped and warm. The host was very polite and she made sure we had everything we needed. We loved the village and we are very satisfied with the stay!!! Definitely recommending it!!!

We loved everything about our stay in Grand hotel Stary Smokovec. It was not our first time there, but it was the first time with our toddler and she had the absolute best time! The staff was super kind and helped us with everything we needed. They also made special arrangement regarding our room - extra bed for no fee and bathrobe and cute slippers for our little one. The hotel is simply beautiful and has great amenities - The spa and wellness is very clean, well organised and super pleasant. Children can play in huge kids room close to the bar so the parents can enjoy coffee, drinks and even food while watching their children having great time. The restaurant was awesome - tasty food and many many options for breakfast, lunch and amazing a la carte dinner. Even special request of our daughter for a glass of milk in the evening was fulfilled! The hotel staff is a team of great professionals. The fact that there is private parking right in front of the hotel and the location of this hotel being in the center of Stary Smokovec is obviously a huge +. You can choose from variety of rooms, we had a junior suite and it was very spacious and quiet with a view from one side on Lomnicky stit and from the other on the sunrise above Poprad. We will definitely come back again!

We arrived very late in the evening without prior accommodation, and most places in the area had a check-in deadline of 10 PM. We called the hotel around 11 PM, and a kind lady came over to personally open the hotel and prepare a room for us. She was extremely helpful and polite, and we truly appreciated her effort. The hotel itself is new, spotlessly clean, and offers a great breakfast. Free parking is also available on-site, which was very convenient. Given the service and quality, I can’t give this hotel anything less than a 10. Thank you once again for your outstanding hospitality!
