The family hosting us was extremely friendly and welcoming. Sonja made us delicious breakfast every morning and Nina was always at our disposal for any questions we might have. The room was very modern and spotless. We would definitely recommend and we will absolutely stay here again when we come back to the area. Nothing but good things!

We stayed at Vila Zvonice for two nights, and the experience exceeded all our expectations. The hosts, Michael and Daniela, truly made the difference with their warm, personal approach that made us feel genuinely welcome—almost like visiting longtime friends. The villa has a wonderful atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the open areas, the spacious living room, and the bar, which offered a large selection of spirits. As we always travel with our dog, we appreciated how accommodating the place was—it never felt like having a dog with us was an issue. The breakfast was exceptional, prepared by our hosts and served in a charming winery. Sharing the space with other guests created a lovely opportunity for conversation. The homemade cakes were especially delightful. The location is also great. You can take walks around the village, and there are several restaurants within walking distance. It’s also just a 5–10 minute drive to the starting points for full-day hiking trips.

    Nova Lesna is The Perfect Place to stay when you want to visit the High Tatras. It is close, it has great value for money and has some really beautiful places to stay at with spectacular view. I have been here twice so far but definitely will come back every time we want to go hiking in these beautiful mountains. The train is close by and quick, there are shops here and so many options to choose where you want to stay.

    It is a small village about 10 min by train from Poprad or...

    It is a small village about 10 min by train from Poprad or Stary Smokovec where the mountains start. There are trains at least once an hour in each direction. Clean, very quiet and with a beautiful view of High Tatras. As it is a little village it is hard to find many shops and restaurants there. The nearest supermarkets are Billa and Kaufland near the Poprad station. There is a nice local vine shop in the village and a slovak cuisine krčma (tavern).

    The Hosts were very welcoming and kind. Considering even that we were few hours later than planned, Host still welcomed us with a smile. Location was easy to find and parking was right under our balcony. Breakfast was really good, everything was tasty and fresh. Interior of the hotel and our appartment felt really solid and expensive, everything was clean. Really calm atmosphere. Good for family with kids.

    The location is great. Can see the mountain range and 30min drive to hiking start point. Very good husband and wife running the hotel. Helping to find any information about trails and they offer good food. There is a small supermarket behind the house-back yard. There is a fridge and cutlery including plates Electric kettle If needed, they will provide a mini cooker too. Cleaning is good.

    Hotel in Nova Lensa and suggest you need a car for getting about. Very nice room with separate large seating area and kitchenette. Breakfast more than adequate given there were only a few guests when we stayed. No restaurant but restaurant at hotel opposite and within driving distance. We liked everything but would have been nice if there was a micro wave in the kitchenette

    This accommodation was absolutely wonderful. We stayed in the attic apartment, which was spacious, well-equipped, and very cozy. The peaceful atmosphere made it perfect for relaxation. Nová Lesná is an ideal base for exploring the High Tatras, as it has everything you need close by. The host was friendly and welcoming, and we would highly recommend this place to everyone.

    Chalet Nova Lesna was a beautiful stay. A very enjoyable walk to the station with the most scenic views 🗻 and a nice location to relax and take in the nature. The owners are super lovely,very helpful and welcoming. Very good breakfast and nice atmosphere;) Highly recommend!!!!
