Very peaceful, calm and beautiful area.

Very peaceful, calm and beautiful area. A less popular wonderland in Slovakia. But there are also well-equipped shops and restaurants. Nearby is an open-air museum and a ski paradise, where great hiking trails start from a spacious parking lot. I will definitely go back.

We have been visiting Zuberec for years and we still like it...

We have been visiting Zuberec for years and we still like it there. We went up to Volovec, visited the local Calvary, went swimming in Oravice in the evening, and the times of mass in the local church and the opening hours of private shops suited us.

I've been to Zuberec several times.

I've been to Zuberec several times. It's a destination for skiers and, in the summer, for mountain hikers. If you're looking for relaxation, Oravice is nearby, with its thermal pools. A few years ago, there were husky races, an unforgettable experience for dog lovers. You'll need a car to enjoy all the attractions.

Ideal as a starting point for the Western Tatras (the main parking lot with the cable car to the ridge is about ten minutes by car), the surrounding area also offers plenty of attractions (caves, an open-air museum, a lookout tower or the nearby Orava Castle) for a break after demanding hikes in the local hills. The people here are nice, the views of the mountains are great.

I've been to Zuberec 4 times already, always staying in a...

I've been to Zuberec 4 times already, always staying in a private room in the center, now I booked a stay with a jacuzzi because of the children, but not much for the money. You can eat at the Uno pizzeria, great. More expensive but good food at Oravská izba.

Located on the main road through Zuberec this hotel is easy to find as it is well marked. The rooms are spacious. WiFi worked well, but was very slow in the room. Excellent hot showers. Quiet. Friendly English speaking staffmember. There is a Tourist Information and a Coop supermarket nearby. Saturday after 12:00 all shops in Zuberec are closed, except for one place in the village that closes at 6PM, but also closed on Sunday. Bus stop is near the village church (pri Kostole) at walking distance.

Excellent location. There are groceries and the central part of Zuberec in general right next door. You can also order breakfast with the accommodation.Parking without problems. Excellent accommodation also for a family with children, as there is a separate bedroom.

The appartement is very clean, quiet and well located in the center of Zuberec. There are all necessary equipment and internet connection is very good for working remotely. The hosts are very nice and friendly people. There’s a great atmosphere and good vibes.
