Everything was wonderful and according to the description. Lee at the reception offered us a free room upgrade (we had a large deluxe room anyway but what he offered us was amazing). At the same time, the people at the reception helped us with absolutely everything we needed. Everything is clean and functional, the staff is exceptional, the room is cleaned every day, the pool on the roof is small but charming. The location of the hotel is perfect, next to the main road, only 4-5 minutes walk to the beach (which, by the way, is beautiful and quiet with very kind people). If you have a bigger budget and you like parties, you can go to Cafe del Mar, an exceptional beach bar.

The most important thing is the service. At this hotel, we were lucky to have an amazing staff. Brothers Nick and Brown did an outstanding job! They were very kind and helpful. I haven’t seen such friendly service in a long time. The apartments are very nice, with a beautiful view from the pool. I definitely recommend coming here. And if the boss is reading this, the brothers definitely deserve a raise!

Everything was perfect during our stay at The Marin Phuket! From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed by the staffs’ warm hospitality. She had no trouble in understanding us and so our communication (in English) was smooth! We were served with some welcome drinks (chrysanthemum) and cold refreshing towels for us to wipe down our hands and face. To our surprise, they provided us each with a self-made bracelet made of jasmine and orchid flowers, which signifies romance. The flowers smelled great and we loved it. After the smooth check-in process, we were led to our room by another friendly staff. The room was spacious, smelled great, and they even made a cute decoration on our beds to welcome our arrival! The lighting in the room was perfect, air conditioning works fine, beds were comfortable, showers worked great and the TV had plenty of selection for us to choose from. Moving on to the breakfast, it had a wide variety of local and international cuisines for us to choose from! The food was warm and delicious. Our dining experience was enjoyable and pleasant. Unfortunately we did not use the facilities in the hotel such as the fitness Center and the swimming pools, but it looked very comfortable as every gym-goer and swimmer we see using the facilities enjoyed themselves very much.

    There is a village feel to Kamala Beach, you can easily walk...

    There is a village feel to Kamala Beach, you can easily walk to shops, restaurants etc. Lots of local stalls for drinks, food, massages, sun loungers etc right on the beach. Later in the day beach volleyball is very popular - casual horseriding, jet skis, surfing and parasailing available. Some walkways/footpaths along the beach restaurant areas have been upgraded in the past 2 years - so much easier. There are now 3 supermarkets on the main road. This area is very popular with something for everyone. Our absolute favourite area in Phuket.

    It is a good beach with surf and facilities all along the beachfront. Shade from trees and plenty of chairs to hire. Food drink and massage readily available and also surf board, boogie board hire - lessons if wanted.

    The beach was clean .

    The beach was clean . There were designated areas that had clear notices saying it was dangerous to swim . There was an area that wasn’t designated dangerous for swimmers where the waves weren’t big. Lovely to sit and watch the water. There are lots of little restaurants along the Beach.

    Kamala Beach is much quieter than Patong.

    Kamala Beach is much quieter than Patong. Good for those who do not need a marijuana outlet on every corner or taking your life in your hand crossing the road. Good for families or more mature people who do not need to be entertained 24//7. Everything you need is within walking distance including supermarkets, public transport (though not very frequent), and a lot of restaurants and bars.

    Been going to Phuket for years, sorry to say Phuket is not...

    Been going to Phuket for years, sorry to say Phuket is not as nice any more, to much traffic and the prices have gone up silly, the green fields are all being built on close to the sea. This is not Thailand, it's more like tourist paradice.

    if you're into chill beaches, this is the one for you! not overcrowded, not too many kids, not loud and drunk tourists, decent amount of restaurants next to the beach... regarding beach experience itself - I would say it was clean, water is also without garbage, and high and low tide dont affect too much water experience

    We spent 1 week at the hotel, it's location is perfect, near the beach and the center. It has everything what you need and above. The cleanliness and the quality was good, but what we really liked is the lady who manage it. She is very helpful with all requests, 100% professional, friendly and kind, we felt ourself like home. <3 We absolutely recommend this hotel if we will have chance to come back to Phuket, we definitely would like to stay again here. Thanks again.

    The bed was so comfortable and the bath with the views exquisite the arrival drink was the best we have had sofare! Staff were so friendly and helpful! Breakfast was the fabulous! Food is fantastic! Location on Kamala Beach and its quieter town makes for a very relaxing holiday destination in Phuket! We are heading back there again!!!
