New rooms, everything very clean and orderly. Located by a rubber plantation, very quiet at night. We came by private car so was easy to get there, would be a bit more involved if coming by public transport since it is out of town.

The location is excellent, and the rooms are clean, spacious, and cozy. The mattress was soft and very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. A unique touch is their weekend movie projections—I thoroughly enjoyed watching an Asian comedy, which was both entertaining and fun. The coffee here is top-notch as well! Overall, I had a wonderful stay, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Highly recommended!

Everything about our stay at Baramate was incredible! We were in Khao Lak for one night before heading to the Similan Islands for a dive trip. The owner of Baramate greeted us at the door upon our arrival and were so hospitable during our entire stay. They even packed us breakfasts to go in the morning as they know that the pick-up time to go to the dive boat is usually really early and guests don't usually find the time to have breakfast. They had sandwiches, fruits, juice and water all prepared and ready to go. It was so nice to know that we were in good hands!! Would 100% recommend this place - if you're in Khao Lak, stay at Baramate. You won't find service like this anywhere else. I'm looking forward to our return for our next dive trip and will definitely be staying here again.

The most amazing hostess!!! She really took care of us from the very second we arrived. Great location to markets, pub and restaurants. Overall a really great place to relax since it’s not too hectic with tourism’ and have lots of cute restaurants and pubs. It’s a little walk to the beach but that’s a minor. The breakfast was unbelievable good with several type of fruits and eggs as you like or musli. The bed was also very nice (not hard and not too soft) - maybe the best we had in Thailand!
