We had an amazing night stay at Above the Clouds in Chiang Rai. Although the owners were away they made sure we had everything we needed and the staff were lovely and went out of their way to help us. Our room was very private and the views of the mountains from the hot tub were stunning. 100% recommend this hotel!

I recently stayed at Sirin Farm Hotel, and it was a truly refreshing and unique experience. Nestled in a serene countryside setting, this hotel offers the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and rustic charm. I particularly enjoyed the farm-to-table aspect of the stay, with fresh produce from the farm featured in the meals. The breakfast was a highlight—delicious, with plenty of options that catered to both local and international tastes. What sets Sirin Farm apart is its connection to nature. The farm tours were educational and fun, allowing us to see firsthand how the hotel grows its vegetables and cares for the animals. It’s the ideal place for anyone who wants to unwind and reconnect with nature. The staff was incredibly friendly, going out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The location is peaceful and far from the hustle and bustle, making it perfect for relaxation, though it might be a bit remote for those looking to be near city activities. Overall, I highly recommend Sirin Farm Hotel for families, nature lovers, or anyone in need of a peaceful retreat. You’ll leave feeling rejuvenated and inspired by the simple pleasures of farm life!

Location was beautiful & the scenery over the crops below, from the balcony & garden settings were lovely. There’s a few Insta pic opportunities around the gardens. The tiny house was really clean, inviting & modern. Our host ‘Big’ was extremely helpful & made our stay as comfortable as possible. He picked us up supplies & arranged food to be delivered. All the staff were welcoming & friendly. We took the bikes for a ride to the local minimart & ate dinner at Sirin Farm, which we also rode the bikes to. We visited the Temples, Singha Park, Karen Village, Kuhn Kon Waterfall, Big Buddha & Chiang Rai CBD from here, we arranged our host to take us.

We loved Suri Kachi so much, it’s beautifully designed and you can really tell that the owners have put a lot of thought into how to make your stay perfect even down to the smallest details! It’s still a wooden hut so don’t expect a super luxurious room, but for us it was the perfect mixture of rustic and upmarket. The hot water works well for a bath, the bed was comfortable and the area is quiet so it made for a very peaceful sleep. Their beautiful restaurant is also a very nice place to spend time and there you will find some adorable little cats. Dinner is available although we didn’t have it this time, but they did make us a delicious vegan breakfast and coffee with soy milk, which is so hard to find elsewhere in the mountains! We would love to come back to Suri Kachi again.

Staying at Ma Family Coffee Farm for two nights was truly an unforgettable experience that exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the beautiful and gracious Monthira and her husband, who both exuded genuine hospitality and warmth. Monthira's passion for coffee was infectious, and her wealth of knowledge on the subject was truly impressive. She not only shared with me the intricate process of coffee production. I had the opportunity to taste an array of different coffees, each one bursting with unique flavors and aromas. It was a sensory experience like no other, and I left with a newfound appreciation for the art of coffee making. In the evenings, we would gather around a crackling fire, where Monthira and her husband would whip up a delicious feast of eggs and marshmallows. The ambience was cozy and intimate, and it felt like being a part of a close-knit family. The laughter and stories shared around the fire will forever hold a special place in my heart. The accommodations at Ma Family Coffee Farm were nothing short of spectacular. My room was spotlessly clean and tucked away atop the mountain, offering breathtaking views of the lush landscape below. Waking up to the sight of the sun rising over the coffee fields was a truly magical experience. As much as I wished I could have stayed longer, my time at Ma Family Coffee Farm will always be cherished as a highlight of my travels. Monthira and her husband's warmth and hospitality left a lasting impression on me, and I left feeling like a part of their extended family. I cannot wait to return to this slice of paradise and bask once again in the beauty of Ma Family Coffee Farm.

Incredible view on the mountains. Very cosy and tasty ambiance and decoration, all with great taste. The balcony was perfect for dinner, which was delivered directly to our room. Everything was clean, the bed comfortable and the service was great. The plus: the view on the mountains while taking a shower. Everything was great.

The view was amazing, especially from the bathtub; it was incredible. The house itself was very well designed with high-end materials, everything was comfy. The Chinese food from the restaurant is one of a kind, it's hard to find that good Chinese food around that area. There were bugs, but you are in the middle of the mountain in May, it's bound to happen, not a big deal if you keep the door closed. Overall, it was class A!

    So glad to have found this awesome place!

    So glad to have found this awesome place! The hosts, Fon and Walter are the nicest people you will ever meet and do such a great job! The afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast were all so delicious! The accommodations were very private, spacious, immaculate clean, and the views from the hot tub and terrace are amazing (we even woke up to catch the sunrise). We definitely plan to come back again.
