Yangyai Garden Lodge is an absolute ripper of a spot in Koh Phangan! The rooms are top-notch – clean, comfy, and surrounded by lush greenery, making it a beaut place to kick back and relax. It’s a proper oasis, just far enough from the party chaos but close enough if you’re keen for a night out. Ping, the host, is a bloody legend. He’ll go above and beyond to make sure you’re looked after, whether it’s sorting your transport or sharing local tips. If you’re after a chilled, welcoming vibe with awesome hospitality, this is the place to stay. Can’t recommend it enough! Also the host has travelled a lot and has excellent English, meaning he can and will happily explain complex details and interesting facets of thai culture. All of his recommendations were excellent. I'm australian and not from brazil

The staff here are super friendly and always happy to help with anything! They really went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay, teaching me a bit of the local language, booking taxis, and checking in to see if I was doing okay. I honestly felt really well looked after. The place itself is adorable, and the rooms are spotless and cosy. They even top up water and tissues every day, which is such a nice touch.💕

This place is amazing. We stayed at Sense Asia for 10 days and we truly enjoyed our stay. Bungalows are recently renovated and have a very beautiful and cosy design. We had a spacious deck with hammock and it was so nice to chill there with a view to the sea. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The entire area is located in a peaceful location (this also means that the place is further away from the center, but that shouldn't be a problem if you have a scooter) with a view of the sea and an almost private beach next to it. The territory of this place is spacious, the pool is nice and there is also a restaurant and a bar. Hosts of this place are very friendly and helpful people. They hepled us whenever we needed something. I definifely recommend to stay here. This place is especially friendly for families with kids :)

It was directly at the beach and the staff and the manager was very helpful. There have been small things but thinking back there was nothing I could complain about. They tried everything to make the stay very comfortable. The vacation was in the end really great!

Good location - nice restaurants and cafes are witin 10 min walk. A closest nice beach is Secret Beach, 10 mins on a bike, which is totally fine. Friendly and resposive staff. Room was clean and spatious. There's a nice dog and cat living on hotel yerritory

A very nice beach.

A very nice beach. A one-day stay is definitely not enough to experience the atmosphere of this place. It's worth staying here for a few days, then you can relax from the hustle and bustle of tourist towns. There are four restaurants here. In our opinion, the best food was served at Haad Khuad Resort – we recommend it – very friendly staff and delicious food.

It's better to rent somewhere else on Koh Phangan, ideally...

It's better to rent somewhere else on Koh Phangan, ideally near Chaloklum, and then take a water taxi to Bottle Beach in 10 minutes to explore the beach. The bungalows there are, in my opinion, very expensive for what they are, and access is extremely difficult.

If you're looking for a pristine, unspoiled beach, this is the perfect place! Others come here specifically for day trips. It's perfect for truly relaxing in a simple setting… The food is equally simple and perfect. We love this beach!

A chosen isolation, a true disconnection.

A chosen isolation, a true disconnection. Wonderful encounters with fellow travelers, as well as the hotel staff and management. Pure bliss. A 2-hour trek starting from the beach offers a beautiful walk, and if you're lucky, you might even spot some monkeys along the way.

We arrived by longboat. An easy place to check in and relax. No pressures and chilled. The place is right on the beach. We booked a family villa with an amazing view, outside patio and hammock. The food was good, a little slow at times, but it was tasty. There is no alcohol available at Smile bungalows (never an issue though)

I really enjoy this place as a get away from it destination. Getting back to simple old style Thailand. Hut looking out to and directly on the beach. Balcony with hammock, bed, fan, bathroom. Simple, cheap and adequate. Like the non plastic wooden restaurant and beachfront and of course the palm leaf heart on the sand.

They charged us twice for the accommodation. We paid cash on arrival but they also deducted the money from my card. Multiple messages that they either ignored or refused to look at their records and never gave our money back.

Nice room, Resturant next door was lovely. They picked us up from our previous hotel on the other side of the island and took us all the way to bottle beach which normal taxis will not (usually have to walk 30 minutes)

We loved this hotel! The kids can’t stop talking about it. Perfectly located on the beach, so much to do for our kids. Loved the food, juices, atmosphere, vibes - we could have stayed so much longer.
