Not the nicest part of island.
Not the nicest part of island. Geared towards full moon party, laughing gas and fire shows. Quiet when not full moon in a nice way but the town is run down. Haad Rin beach is beautiful though. Saw quite a few families which was nice. Rented our bike from here and explored the island for a few days. I was expecting Haad Rin to be more crowded, dirty, and over touristy. But it wasn't! Yes, there are plenty of shops and bars and the streets are a little lively, but the beach itself is spacious, clean, and so relaxing. In my opinion, Had Rin is not suitable for families at all, but only for young people who like to lie on the beach most of the day and wait for the full moon parties. Staff are just the best like family!! They will look after you and give great discounts! Rooms are comfortable. They have a double and single bed in each room. They have a roof top bar and it's right on the beach and brilliant and cheap for the full moon party. Best place to stay in Haad rin. I will always come back here.
