Amazing communication before our trip to help organise transfers and boats. The driver (Dom) was fantastic. The whole team were polite and knowledgable when we arrived. Rooms are spotless. All in all I would recommend this hotel 100% if travelling to Pakbara. We will return soon.

I don't remember the city of Satun...

I don't remember the city of Satun... There is the Province of Satun. However, the city of Pak Bara is worth visiting, especially the waterfront and the nice (slightly crowded) cafes. The nearby "Mu Ko Phetra National Park" deserves special attention with a long jetty enabling a trip to the time of dinosaurs.

I was there on business heading to Langkawi so only one...

I was there on business heading to Langkawi so only one night then the ferry the next day. With transport there is a lot to see in Satun. A quiet little backwater coastal town that has a ferry to Langkawi. If I had time I would do more exploring. I ate at the local shops a donut and a coffee. Main meal at my room as I brought it with me in my car fridge. I did go to a excellent coffee shop before checking into my room. Satun is developing but in not way touristic, No crowds

Good place to stay with your family on your vacation.

Good place to stay with your family on your vacation. Good eating place around the area such as: Papaya Mom, Rim Lay Kitchen & Restaurant, Nava Seafood, Bara Roti and few other restaurants. You can also go to Koh Lipe for the stay and some other water activities.

We just stayed here for a night and took the ferry to Koh...

We just stayed here for a night and took the ferry to Koh Lipe the next day. The part of town immediately surrounding the hotel was dead at night. A 7-11 is close, as well as 4 street vendors selling some food.

It's a small but peaceful province, perfect for a relaxing getaway without the hustle and bustle. There's delicious food in many restaurants, and you can easily travel to various places, both old and natural, with both the sea and mountains. The cost of living isn't too high, and the food is delicious.

Bara Bara Budget Satun is a really nice place to stay with your family. The rooms are comfortable, just nice in size, pool was amazing and kids love it, the pantry is convenient to be used by every unit. They even provide light food for breakfast, and the coffee machine is awesome. Definitely recommend this place. Brought my grandmother with me and she loves it. No stairs and everything was within walkable distance. Kudos to the owner and the friendly staffs!

The location, cleanliness, staff were very polite and helpful. They helped us with booking of ferry and free shuttle service to the pier. Very responsive to my enquiries. The hotel is very chic looking and is just along the road at Pakbara viewpoint. So convenient. There's a big 7eleven about 1km away. Lots of fresh seafood eateries nearby.
