We loved the place. The last property before the desert, we came and there was wind starting to blow so could not go for long in the desert but still the stay was worth it. Mohammed is an amazing host, very nice, open and with attentions. We would definitely come back there if we want to stay longer in the desert.

Muhammed and Brigitte are great hosts. We loved to stay at their place. They helped us not only with recommendations for places to visit and eat but also made us feel at home. The apartment is spacious and clean, as clean as it gets with the sahara at the doorsteps, and we very much appreciated the nice pool in the yard.

A great stay in the dates farm. Welcoming host Fadil who made sure we had everything we needed. Ferid was in touch through whatsapp prior to arrival. Dinner was great and plenty, tasty food and the bread making in the sand was a nice experience. Rooms were comfortable, it had all the amenities required. Highly recommended.

Insider tip: Head to the animal stock market early in the morning (around 6–7 AM) to witness traditional trading in action — complete with lively negotiations over sheep, goats, and camels. A true local experience!

The location of the camp is amazing. The host/driver picked us up in Douz and drove around 120Km in the desert. The ride was crazy, if you have motion sickness, be prepared. The dinner in the camp was really really good, better than our expectation. The starry night was also stunning, we saw so many stars in the pitch black night. The hosts were also nice.

The hotel is at the gate of the desert. You can book desert activities easily through their reception. The pool is open till late so it’s nice to swim there and cool down. Interestingly we didn’t even use AC at night because there room is cool enough. We also booked spa but it’s very mediocre. I wouldn’t recommend because it’s not worth the money

The hotel is perfect in case you are going to visit in Sahara. We arrived late in the evening and left early in the morning. Got a good dinner served and nice breakfast.Really beautiful area with a lot of palm trees. Hotel itself was better than in pictures.
