The hotel is very comfortable, staff were helpful, and it was the first and only place one could get by with a card, for which I was grateful. The pool is very nice, food was very tasty and varied. There are covered parking spaces, which was great. The bar was great, playing oldies music, we kinda got stuck in there for a while. One can book Sahara trips in the lobby.

The hotel is a real oasi in the desert: the building is huge, with a great pool and our room had a balcony. Everyone from the staff was kind and helpful: we had the chance to book a tour with the camel in the desert directly from the reception (for a very reasonable price, 15€). Breakfast and dinner were included: dinner was not exceptional, but you have a lot of choice (there’s even a guy who makes pizza). Breakfast was great, especially the crepes. Everything was really clean, they change towels and make the bed everyday. Very good value for money.

We loved the place. The last property before the desert, we came and there was wind starting to blow so could not go for long in the desert but still the stay was worth it. Mohammed is an amazing host, very nice, open and with attentions. We would definitely come back there if we want to stay longer in the desert.

Muhammed and Brigitte are great hosts. We loved to stay at their place. They helped us not only with recommendations for places to visit and eat but also made us feel at home. The apartment is spacious and clean, as clean as it gets with the sahara at the doorsteps, and we very much appreciated the nice pool in the yard.

Everything Great! The apartment is big, spacious, brand new, super equipped. Extremely clean. A great place. The owner is a woman with a huge heart, and with great patience. She does everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I add one last thing; I am usually a model guest, but this time I was unbearable: she was always friendly and understanding. Absolutely recommended.

The public area is very atmospheric and has an authentic desert feel to it. The rooms are comfortable and have working air conditioning. They prepared a very delicious dinner for me upon request and the breakfast was nice too. They also arranged trips into the desert like camel tours and jeep tours. Located at the edge of the desert. The owners of the structure are kind and helpful. In addition to the stay, I recommend the experiences they propose. The typical dinner is an incredible experience and the walk in the desert with the camels guided by Abdallah was magical. The structure is suggestive and well cared for. It was a real pleasure.

Insider tip: Head to the animal stock market early in the morning (around 6–7 AM) to witness traditional trading in action — complete with lively negotiations over sheep, goats, and camels. A true local experience!

Overall, I really liked the hotel and it met my expectations. I would have appreciated air conditioning, which only served as a fan. Fortunately, it wasn't too hot, so we were able to rest well!

It's the start for the desert.

It's the start for the desert. The souk, and the surrounding areas (Sabria is a nativity scene...). The desert dunes! The expert guide Habib KTM (and his staff), who has a shop in the souk, is a point of reference!!! The adventure begins in Douz!!!

The owners could not of done more to make our stay absolutory great ,form meeting us in the main road of Douz at 6pm at night and showing us the way to the property to suppling every thing we needed for a great stay... It was a very last minute dissension to go to the international festival of the Sahara and finding this incredibly CLEAN ,WELCOMING great place was a real bonus and made our time in Douz a time to remember....All thanks to Akram and is wonderful partner.

The room was lovely and I liked the traditional houch style. I also liked the way the garden and the roof terrace were laid out. It was only a 15 minute walk into central Douz so was conveniently situated. Hassan was very courteous and nothing was too much trouble. A really charming and traditional place to stay.

A remote camp, two hours in a 4x4 from Douz. The tent was really comfortable and the evening meal delicious, and there was alcohol. wish we would have stayed extra nights
